Nature of work completed: Converting a utility room into a soundproof home office. I was more than comfortable speaking with David and the group. Having a soundproof office is a must in my line of work, and they empathized with that. David was courteous, and would respond to my calls and texts at all times throughout the day or night. The pricing was fair but competitive. I had received quotes from other vendors that were lower. Lohrer Contracting was slightly higher than most vendors. However, given my comfortability dealing with them, along with the fact that they knew what was need in order to complete the job, I was more than happy to pay a little extra. Workplace tidiness: At all times, and the guys showed nothing but respect toward my family and I. They made sure to clean up after themselves. Job completion on time and budget: The project was on budget, and finished only a day or two behind my expectation. This was mostly because we decided to swap out some materials needed for the soundproofing, and the new materials were not available locally. David offered to drive all the way from my home in Simcoe County to Mississauga in order to procure the right materials- without charging extra. Would I recommend Lohrer Contracting: Without a doubt. Lohrer Contracting is the most honest and dependable contractor that I have ever dealt with. They did such a good job the first time around that I’m planning to use their services again for bigger job in our home.
