Allure just put in Maxxmar window coverings...drapes at the front and behind that (controlled by a remote) an insulating room darkener/insulator. So the darkener cuts glare, intense heat or cold and can be lowered/raised as wished. The shades (which look like expensive cloth blinds) in front are totally gorgeous!! The installation was REALLY professional. Hunter-Douglas may be "the" noted brand, but Maxxmar costs almost half. And Allure was terrific to work with. High praise from me!

I have relied on my he-can-do-anything handyman for almost ten years. I live in a very old house and he has repaired and done everything from a flooded basement, replacing crumbling front stone steps, eavestroughs, complete bathroom and basement renovations, sanding floors as well as countless other things like painting, dry wall, floor tiling etc. He is wonderful to work with: prompt, reliable, cheerfi;l, tidy and good at whatever he does. When I say I rely on him I mean it! He supplies thoroughly itemized invoices and his prices are more than reasonable. Frankly, I could not manage this old house without him It is also a pleasure to have the other members of his team: they are very professional, pleasant to have around and always clean up! I have used New View for years. I use them because they are reliable, do excellent work, clean up perfectly and even take time to make sure the trimming of my ivy (on the front and side of the house) is a good-looking (and even a bit stylish) cut. Their prices are fair. In summary, they are an excellent hands-on small, local company. Highly recommended by me.
