Was concerned about care / upkeep of laying sod. Got some from Portobello, and it was great. They did a wonderful job laying it, and making sure I understood how to take care of it for the first little bit. The grass looks great two years later and I couldn't be happier with both the product and the service I received .
They did a great job. It was a fairly large job - the work was done in a timely manner, and the quote I was given before the work was started was accurate. I would not hesitate to call them again should I need to have any more landscaping done.
My fridge bit the biscuit - no big deal, still under warranty. The authorized repair service for my area was Aberdeen, who called me within two hours of filling out the repair request on the manufacturer's website. I figured this was a good sign. They said they would be out later that day. I called them when it was getting close to 5, and they promised they'd be out the next morning. We played this foolish game for two days. They did eventually show up, and fixed my fridge. Unfortunately it has been over 72 hours from the time it had died, and everything in it was ruined. On the other hand, the man that showed up was very nice, and I don't think it was his fault.

I have been in to this store several times over the years - they are always friendly, polite and they know what they're talking about (and don't look down on you if you don't) One of few stores where you can trust the answers you get without having to wonder if they're really just trying to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't actually need.
I have to agree with "Elaine from Fredericton" - getting these people to return a phone call that doesn't immediately benefit them is an absolute nightmare. Finally wound up having to go in - again. In the end, I did purchase the supplies from them, but only because I couldn't get exactly what I needed anywhere else in town.
