We recently had our roof replaced by Top Roofers and were extremely satisfied. First of all, when we called to inquire, we were able to make an appointment for the next few days. Bruno, the owner, came to see our house a few days later -- exactly at the time he had promised (already a step beyond what a couple of other roofing companies had done -- or not done.) Bruno listened to our story (leaking around the chimney flashing and under one corner) and looked carefully at the roof. He spoke clearly and knowledgeably about what he thought was the problem, and made some concrete suggestions. He then actually went up on the roof to look and to do some measurements. HIs estimate was extremely detailed and again, very clear as to the job that he proposed. It compared very favourably in detail and in price with another well-known roofing company in our area. On the day the job was to be done his crew showed up with an astonishing amount of materials and equipment (we were replacing the entire roof.) I initially panicked, worrying about possible damage to my garden borders, but Bruno showed no impatience with my concern. He listened to me and then talked to his crew chief, and they made sure to cover and protect my plants to the very best of their ability. I really appreciated their work, and I particularly appreciated Bruno's patience with me. The crew worked very efficiently and carefully, and the cleanup was also extremely well done. Bruno came back to check the job and make sure that everything had been done to his high standards. Although this wasn't exactly a job we wanted to do... (who actually WANTS to replace their roof...?) we were very happy that we had chosen to have Top Roofers do the job.

Daniel and Matt helped me realize a plan that I had been developing for at least a year -- to divide my garage in half in order to create a pottery studio in one half, with storage in the other half. When trying to think through the project and find people who could tackle parts of it, I had an idea about flooring, and that was why I originally contacted Daniel. But when I explained the project to him, he said that he and his partner Matt could certainly take on the whole thing and make it work. And they did. In what was a completely uninsulated brick garage with a very porous and rough concrete floor, I now have a fully insulated pottery studio with a level, rubber tiled floor (specifically recommended by Daniel for durability, flexibility in case of spills, and some insulating properties on the concrete) in one half, and an insulated large storage space in the other half. Matt and Daniel were both great to work with -- coming up with really good solutions for unexpected problems that respected my budget, and willingly adding extras that I hadn't foreseen at the beginning. They took time to make sure that their work was done well, and finished properly. I'm really thrilled with the job and would definitely recommend them to others.

We've had a lot of problems and water damage due to blocked downspouts and I was a bit desperate to make sure they were cleared this year. Found Dan at Boss Trades late in the season and it was already a busy time for them. Nevertheless, he said the work could get done. He had to keep pushing the date out due to bad weather (which was a bit nerve-wracking), but he promised me that he'd make sure the eaves were cleared before it was too late. And he came through! He was always cheerful and positive on the phone, and I appreciated his willingness to keep working to make the job happen. Ben, who was the guy who actually did the work, did a good job. We were very satisfied.
