The installed a roof vent in a shed - I supplied the vent - $50. never leaked. On another occasion I had a drip from my ceiling that lasted 3 days. It was right below a roof vent that gets a lot of snow buildup. During a warm spell the snow that entered that roof vent melted from atop of the insulation causing the leak. Bourque Roofing (613-969-1233) replaced that vent with their propriety rain/snow proof vent for $100. They showed up on short notice and did a GREAT job! No leaks after that!

I waited to write the review until the 3 foot retaining wall experienced 1 winter as I know shoddy workmanship will NOT withstand a winter. I am please to say the 66 foot long 3 feet high retaining wall is still level and straight. Scott has a unique technique for the foundation, deep, wide and as with any other landscaper adds drainage. The natural stone I used cost $3000 and is not included in the overall cost of $5000. I had Scott install two electrical outlets (I connected the power to the home circuit) behind the wall for a waterfall which meant installation before the wall was installed and deep under the foundation. Scott left a small hole in the wall for the pond plumbing and electrical. The sod was removed, ground leveled and sloped properly away from the house. Excellent job and very accommodating with changes in plans. This was NOT an easy job.

Saved a few thousand by going with Pioneer after 4 quotes. I researched their window supplier (Pilkington) and hardware supplier (Truth Hardware) thoroughly. They meet or exceed all gov specs for our weather zone here in Toronto. Pioneer website does not do a good job of advertising their lifetime warranty, but Jeff Gik gave the proper written guarantee while on-site. They installed a variety of windows: sliders, bow, casement and awning. After 3 months they all still work perfectly and better than the one I replaced last year through another company (replaced as a test of that company before doing the rest.) I am very picky when it comes to quality and workmanship of finishing trim. They did not disappoint. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
