During the summer/fall of 2022 we had Dave in to complete a significant renovation to our main floor involving flooring replacement as well as a total kitchen and bathroom update. Dave remained incredibly engaged and consultative throughout the project. Communication is one of Dave's many strengths and he was always sure to keep in touch about plans, work schedules, costing etc. His quotes were accurate and well put together and there were very few surprises during the reno. Inevitably, a few small things came up during demolition etc. and Dave was quick to get in touch and discuss the plan, always giving us the options we could consider along with the cost of each option. He also guided us (not handy people) through the entire process and made sure we knew what to shop for and when etc. He was meticulous in terms of cleaning and tidy up at the end of each day and was just as diligent with the overall quality of his work. Dave frequently checked in to ensure we were happy with how it was coming together and he was always willing to listen and adapt anything that we raised (there wasn't a lot in this regard). Dave demonstrated his commitment to quality when he self identified things he wasn't happy with and went ahead and improved them. This is a guy you can trust with your home. We also appreciated that Dave manages any subcontractors that are involved - we only communicated with Dave which made it very streamlined for us. We have just enjoyed a very busy festive season with our new main floor and we are delighted with the finished product! It is both functional and beautiful! We would absolutely make the same choice again and we plan to have Dave back out to the house for some additional work in the future. Would highly recommend!!
