If you search Kiddies World, you'll see that there are quite a few complaints about furniture orders being delayed by weeks and months. This also happened to me. I was told that my furniture would arrive in 4 weeks. When I placed the order I asked how likely it would not arrive in 4 weeks and the answer was 0%. Now I am waiting over 2 months for the furniture to arrive. When I called the store, Nyla (one of their sales people) was EXTREMELY RUDE. I would avoid the headache of purchasing ANYTHING at this company. They cannot be trusted & their staff is extremely unprofessional.

We had Home Fixology install a horizontal chandelier for us and indicated with a piece of tape on the wire how low it should go. They did not follow the instructions, therefore had to fix it. We purchased the glass tiles and grout for our kitchen blacksplash and hired Home Fixology to install it. I have never installed it myself, but I'm sure I could have done a better job. They left grout all over our kitchen counters and it actually looked worse than what was there before. When we complained about the job (3 times), they never answered ANY of our emails or phone calls. They are an amateur company and clearly don't know what they're doing. I am surprised to see a high rating, as we were utterly disappointed in their service the job they fulfilled for us. We have since gone through many other major and minor renovations and dealt with other companies and it is night and day between Fixology and the other companies. I don't know how they survive with their business ethic. Do yourself a favor, and search for other companies to do your job.

Finer Edge completed a few jobs for us (painting/correcting of walls, stairs, wainscotting and adding new baseboards). They did a fabulous job and made recommendations on what type of paint to use and also recommended on what to refinish and not refinish. This is rare in the contracting industry as everyone tends to say 'yes' to everything even if it's not the right thing for the material and client. Vince was very accomodating and friendly and we felt comfortable from the 1st day. They made one minor mistake but rectified it quickly and apologized. I would definitely recommend Finer Edge. You will not be disappointed.

I would not recommend using Adanac Glass because: - they quoted 3-4wks & still aren't complete at 2 months - they drilled through our brand new hardwood floors leaving drill marks because they didn't measure properly - they scratched one of the pieces of glass, so we had to return it - after they re-cut the replacement glass, they prepared to deliver it but it was untempered, so it had to be returned a second time - they have NO idea what customer service or professionalism is (ie. even after making the above mistakes, would make no accomodations for installation outside of 9am-5pm and their installers argued & yelled at each other during the installation Overall, for service, quality & expertise, it's amazing that they're in business.
