I had a very and I mean very difficult roofing job. My house is a row house built in 1882 and since that time, no one had removed any of the old roofing material, they just put on a new layer of material over the old. So I had 6 to 8 inches of old roof to remove, endless layers of tar, gravel and torch down. It was about 6 to 7 tons of material, as well as a crumbling parapet and part of one that had been removed, by my neighbor when he tried to fix his own roof, that separated the last ten feet of our roofs. That was before I bought the house. Mark and his team were great, he gave me all costs, options and the price didnt change when the work started. He was honest, informative and quick to reply or answer any question. The work quality was excellent, efficient and clean! They didnt leave any mess or debris to cleanup. When my two neighbors did their roofs with other companies it was like a smog cloud mixed with chunks of toxic debris. On our job the neighbors were suprised that there was no mess. The roof parapets were rebuilt and covered to match the existing ones, I went up on the roof after the first day and was impressed, I have worked in the trades so I know quality work. I know what I paid was a lot, but you get what you pay for, Mark and his team do top quality work, and I know I wont have to worry about my roof for years. My neighbor that got a cheap company to do his roof a few years earlier than me, just had someone up on his roof repairing it. You can either pay for craftsmanship like Coverall roofing, or pay less for a mediocre company and take your chances. Im also going to put skylights later in my roof and Ill only have Mark and his team do it. They have my highest recommendations. Thanks Gord
