Consumer in Markham

I had booked Evo roofing to reshingle my roof back in May and work scheduled in early August. I paid the deposit and was told that someone will get back to me in mid July to finalize a date. None called and I finally called back in first week of August. The person who booked my job has left the country and another person is handling job scheduling. They had no record of my roofing job as they didn't have the copy of agreement. I sent them a copy and was told that August is fully booked ao will have to push it to September. Someone was supposed to get back with a date last week but heard from none. Sent email follow ups and called but no reply back. I guess my deposit is gone as it seems to be a fraudulent company. I am going to report them to Ontario's Business Beareau. I warn everyone please don't fall for these 5-star reviews as thats how they sold to me. I researched and found that web reviews can be purchased as someone sitting half way across the globe can be paid to write them.
