We hired Andy to re-cane and repair some French Second Empire chairs that have been in my family for 120 years. They had been re-caned previously, but the caning was worn out and broken; one chair had a large crack in the leg. AM Furniture Refinishing did an excellent job. Andy used caning fabric, but had to make modifications to the edges of the seats to install it. It took a lot of work and skill. The chairs look almost as good as new, which is a lot for pieces that are over 100 years old. AM Furniture Refinishing appreciates your antiques as much as you do; they do careful, skilled restoration. I highly recommend them.
