We had previously worked with Steve on our bathroom renovation last year and were so happy with the result. He on occasion will do a kitchen for a client if he worked with them before. We were so thrilled that he agreed to do our kitchen. The kitchen cost listed above was for the cabinets, counter, materials and labour and included removing existing cabinets and trim/tile. Work included re-leveling the floor, paint, electrical, plumbing, installing trim/baseboard and installing our kitchen cabinets, counter and tile throughout the kitchen, front entrance & powder room. It was right on the budget that he provided for his work, the cabinets & counter. We decided to purchase the tile, light fixtures, misc bits such as the vent/taps ourselves The total project cost was $32K excluding appliances. Steven is an amazing and easy guy to work with and works very hard and diligently for his clients. We cannot thank him enough for the incredible job he did which far surpassed our expectations. He does quality work, he does what he says, and we absolutely trusted him through the entire process. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone in the Durham region looking to do some work. Steve just completed a full reno of our master ensuite bathroom and refresh of our family bathroom in August. His quote was very reasonable compared to others that we also got quoted. He was extremely personable, worked with us throughout the project and was efficient and consistently delivered on everything discussed. Steve gave us excellent guidance and advise on our fixture and material choices. He started the day when he said he would and finished in the timeline advised. The quality of his workmanship is excellent and he exceeded our expectations in everything. When I am in our ensuite it feels like I am standing in a 5 star hotel/spa (before/after pics below). We have just had our front yard and driveway renovated by Kings Garden Landscaping. Peter’s team did a beyond amazing job and has added so much value to our property. His supervisor and his crew definitely know their stuff and were meticulous in how they did the work. The precision of the stonework and the design really suits the house and his incredibly hard working crew who worked 12 hour days in the plus 30 degree weather were a credit to this company. You can tell that they have high quality craftsmanship as when the stone arrived, they realized that the quality was not acceptable and called that out to us, which actually added to the time of the job for the crew while we waited for replacement stone. We really appreciated the honesty and integrity as I am sure many other places would have installed it in order to complete the job and move on to the next one. Another stand out was how Peter lived up to superior customer service. He was prompt with his follow ups and visits, providing us updates and calculating and issuing us estimates he did just as he promised. I heartily recommend King’s Garden and would use them again without hesitation.
