Trifecta Interiors Inc's work is good but make sure you do not pay up front for the cost of project materials. After numerous last minute cancellations and attempts to charge more for services that had been quoted in our contact, I ended our contact with Trifecta, but they refused to reimburse us for the materials we paid for but never received. Trifecta says they either used all of the materials we paid for in advance or left them with us when we ended the contract. In fact, we never received the custom oak handrail, oak door trim or oak stair casing components. Trifecta also substituted inferior carpet and underlay in our project even though our contract included very specific carpet and underlay brands. Make sure that you have written agreement that if the completion date is exceeded that financial penalties are built into your contract. Our simple project ended up being delayed way past a very reasonable completion date, with so many last minute cancellations that we decided that we could not continue with Trifecta. I recognize that COVID has presented challenges but other contract work was getting done - just not ours. Too many last minute cancellations of our project work because we were low priority. Company Response

We apologize for this experience. Due to covid regulations and our trades persons needing to self isolate due to the laws of this pandemic timelines had to change due to these unfortunate circumstances that were out of our control. The special carpet order that you selected and approved of through our search of retailers and due to covid these orders were delayed, again out of our control. I will assure you that all materials paid for and purchased were either used on your project or left in your possession after the contract ended. These are trying times of unforeseen outcomes due to a pandemic that has shaken the production of many small business.
