The two person team worked quickly and effectively. They explained their process (from spraying sealant on the pipes after the asbestos was removed, to leaving the hepa-filter running for hours to clean up any possible airborne particles), and left me feeling secure everything was done as professionally as possible. I plan on using their services again in my new home!
I had a very bad experience with another moving company and wound up stuck with a 3 bedroom house crammed into a storage locker. ABS came through for me at the last minute. My experience with them versus the other company was like night and day. ABS's movers were cheerful and professional, loading my whole house into one truck - a feat that took the other company 4 truck loads! They were obviously great packers and skilled movers. They made me realize what professional movers can do, and are worth every penny of their hourly rate (the other company offered a lesser rate, but didn't stick to it on the day of the move). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ABS to anyone.
Please DO NOT use this company. I was moving from a 3 bedroom house into a new property. I thought this would be a common situation for most experienced moving companies. On moving day, the 3 movers spent hours on the phone with Niko arguing about the terms of our agreement (confirmed a month before in writing and on the phone) and then unloaded the 12 boxes they had slowly loaded onto their truck, said they wouldn't do the move - and drove away! Only after I threatened litigation did they return with 5 men, 2 trucks and talk of higher rates. The movers smoked on the truck with my possessions on board, and didn't pack their truck properly, so multiple trips had to be done to the storage lockers ( which I was forced to rent because Niko didn't follow through on his promise to store the furniture on the truck for a day.) Only with my help was this first part of the job finished before midnight. I thought Niko would try extra hard to make up for the first part of the move, but instead, he also backed out of the second part of the move (from the lockers to the new house) saying his men weren't available as he said they would be, but he could do it another day. Instead, I hired another moving company as I should have from the beginning - this company's 3 men fit everything onto one truck and unloaded it at my house in the same time as the 5 men sent by Niko and his 2 trucks. This whole experience was absolutely unbelievable. I don't understand how a business can operate like this.
