I wanted to change my kitchen faucet to a new model. The existing on in our condo had copper pipes going right into the faucet so the pipes needed to be cut and have new hoses installed. Matthew arrived on time, did the job quickly and thoroughly, kept everything neat and clean, and the cost was what he quoted. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

Matthew Trace took the extra step of trying to replace a part in my bathtub/shower - with the water full on because the condo mgr had not figured out where the shut off was. He is prompt, calm and prices reasonably.

Called Matthew Trace on recommendation of friends. He was very friendly and efficient. Everything is working perfectly. He worked with our budget and gave us some less-expensive options for some of the issues we had.

Matthew and a worker came to deal with burst pipes. He seemed to have fixed the main problem but it turns out he failed to find a section of broken pipe behind some insulation that ended up doing considerable damage a week later even though I pointed out that there had been a leak from that area. I would have expected a more thorough job.

I'll add to the chorus of recommendations for Matthew. Being a homeowner for 20 years, I can safely say it's not easy to find a good plumber in Toronto! He did the plumbing for our recent kitchen and laundry room renovation.

Matthew was quick to respond, highly competent, and his rates were reasonable. Wish we had similar good luck with all the contractors who worked on our recent reno!

Another amazing top notch job by Matt and his team. Matt came in,assessed the situation, gave us a number of options, went out to source the materials, came back and installed and then stayed to make sure the work was quality. All this in an hour and ten minutes. Hard to find honest, top notch plumbers with this experience. Could not be happier.

I needed my main shutoff valve replaced. Not a complex job but I needed to synchronize with the city shutting off the main water supply as well. Son had the best price quote and had great reviews so I called them up. Matt showed up early! The city was late in shutting off the water. He stuck with me until the job was done. The work was solid and Matt was very professional and even though the city was late he did not leave me hanging where others most certainly could have. No need to shop around, just call Son. The work will get done right and you will be paying a very fair price. Thanks Matt.

Everything went very smoothly, installation went well, didn't cost as much as some other places I called. Matt was very professional, and cleaned up after himself. Overall, couldn't find a single negative thing to say here, and would definitely use him again in the future.

I called Matt and got a quote. It was very reasonable and he was able to start the next day! He told me he would arrive around 10am and did so, He warned us he may need the water off for a few hours but it was off for less than two hours. I was very pleased with his work and matt will be coming back once the basement bathroom is done to install the toilet and vanity. I recommend him to others who need a plumber.

I called Matthew after reading reviews here on Home Stars, and am I ever glad I did! He came the same day to take a look at the job and give me an estimate (I needed a rough-in for a complete gutting and reno of my kitchen). He was here to do the job a week later at the appointed time and day. He was very professional and knowledgeable (and friendly and interesting to talk to!), took the time to explain everything to me, and completed it within the estimated budget. My contractor running the whole show (complete kitchen gut and reno) said he was very impressed with Matt's work and professionalism, and he took Matt's number too. I will definitely call him again should the need arise, and have already recommended him to friends. No need to look any further!
