Of the various contractors we called for quotes, John responded right away and came when he said he would to discuss our project. This sense of customer service and professionalism carried through in his work. John listened to what we wanted, helped fine tune the design and built us a beautiful two tier deck with storage and glass panels in a tight space. He would not rest until we were fully satisfied. John's workmanship is excellent and he was true to his estimate. Most of all, he has a wonderful nature, is an absolute pleasure to work with and made home renovations a pleasurable experience for once!

I had John from B.B.G. come in and install all of the baseboards in my century home. He was working with 8-inch and 10-inch baseboards in a old house with no square corners, and did a fabulous job.

We prepared a detailed drawing for a deck and interviewed 5 contractors to provide estimates on the project. John from BBG Carpentry and Renovations promptly attended at our home to view the site and discuss our plan. We found John to be exceptionally thorough and knowledgeable. He made excellent suggestions, provided logical alternatives and gave a competitive quotation shortly after the visit.
John advised of his time frame to do the job based upon existing commitments. He and his crew arrived on time, ordered quality materials and constructed the deck to code. During construction we had a number of site consults to discuss progress of the job. In fact, some pieces of cedar were returned when he was not happy with their quality.

John and his crew were consummate professionals - they were respectful of the property - leaving it in broom swept condition at the end of each day. They were all eager to answer any question and offered a thorough response. The deck was built on time and we are thrilled with the results.

From the minute John came to give me a quote he was professional. He listened, made suggestions, explained the code, explained the process, and explained the price. We needed to install a column in the living room to cover an ugly 4x4, and hired John to do the job.

His expertise and craftmanship was appreciated, as he not only installed the column perfectly, but also expanded a half-wall to make things symetrical.

On a personal note, John and his workers were friendly and a joy to work with.

BBG and Carmor Construction Co. worked together, and both John and Rob were excellent. They did a wonderful job matching some existing (90 year old) window trim on three of our windows. They showed up when they said they would, and finished the job in a very reasonable amount of time. My 18-month-old daughter absolutely loved John's dog Cocoa- who is very lovable, and stays outside in the van unless you invite him in. I would recommend both of them, and will definitely use them again!

We are absolutely delighted with the new look of our balcony. John has transformed the cheap-looking cement floor to a beautiful wood-tiled part of our condo. It is such a pleasure seeing John’s perfect handiwork. At the moment we are looking forward to a flower display area John will make and install by the time temperatures allow outplanting. Finding John was our lucky day.
