Paul & Mainland Ventures were amazing. I have recommended them to numerous friends. They helped me take a tired 30 year-old condo kitchen and transform it into a customized modern one that I'm proud to show off. Not only did they complete all the work on time and on budget, they are super clean when they work and clean up properly after the job is complete. They really know what they're doing and take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them!

I have used Mainland Ventures on several occasions over the last 5-6 years for a number of renovation projects. The quality of workmanship is excellent,the contractor is responsive, meets deadlines and works to stay in budget. I particularly appreciate the effort and time that the contractor takes to plan the project and ensure that it is done to satisfaction. My household has worked with Mainland Ventures on a couple of custom renovation projects over the last few yrs. I have been a local property developer for over 30 years. In the construction and renovation industry there are a lot of people who call themselves professionals. However, without standard training requirements many of these so called "professionals" are nothing more than weekend warriors and handymen with tools. I was referred to Paul and Mainland Ventures by a mutual collegue when one of the companies I hired to complete finishing work for me on a Sunshine Coast development project was unable to meet the previously agreed to deadlines (very typical). I was hesitant to work with a new company but Paul came highly reccommended. His work ethic and attention to detail was exceptional. Additionally, his skill level and knowledge of industy standards and building codes rivaled my own knowledge base! I have used his company dozens of times over the past 7 years and have no hesitation in promoting his company. I have an open invitation to Paul to join me in a full-time capacity but I see from his reviews that he is doing just fine and will continue to do so on his own.

I wanted to post a review based on several renovation/restoration projects Mainland Ventures has done for us. We have used Paul and his team now on several projects and their work as always been excellent. My husband likes to do a lot of renovation work himself but with a young family and a busy career we came to the realization we needed some assistance in completing our renovations. Paul is well organized, articulate and has a wide breath of knowledge of the industry and access a solid team of sub trades. Mainland Ventures stands out with its well trained crew that gets projects delivered on time and on budget! Paul kept us up to date and always had solutions or ideas for the inevitable roadblocks that come with renovations. They have completed an entire basement renovation with the inclusion of a suite, a large deck as well as several smaller projects. Paul's knowledge, attention to detail and calm manner allowed us to feel confident that we would be happy with the end product. As well, when the work was occurring inside our house I appreciated how clean they kept the work area. Further, Paul was conscious of our needs and at times even completing the loud parts of a job around our children's naps which was above and beyond what we could have expected. We have recommended Mainland Ventures to several family members and friends and I have heard nothing but rave reviews from all of them. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mainland Ventures for any small or large scale renovation projects.

The workers from Mainland Ventures were reliable, pleasant and very skilled at their various trades. Work was completed in a reasonable time frame and the budget was adhered to. The work site was cleaned up after each individual job and garbage taken away. All work was completed to our satisfaction and any problems were addressed promptly. We would be happy to hire this company for future jobs.

My wife and I decided this summer that we would finally tackle the remodelling of our kitchen. This was always an area that we were not happy with as there were too many walls and not enough cupboard space. Although we did our homework very thoroughly by reading design magazines and visiting kitchen show rooms at stores like Ikea we were unable to determine how to maximize our small space and make it a modern, open space that we could be proud of. Paul came highly recommended and we now see why. His vast experience and skilled network of trades were invaluable during this highly disruptive and stressful time. He came armed with tons of suggestions and advice when we were lost, calmed us when we thought we would lose our minds, and completed the most beautifully custom kitchen solutions we could have ever dreamed of. I have no hesitation recommending Mainland Ventures and Paul to all of my friends and family! In fact, I think so highly of Paul that I consider him one of the family now!

Paul came in and saved the day at a moment's notice. We tried to go on the "cheap" with a handyman, but soon found out it was costing far more than we had expected and was not being completed as we had requested. After months of trying to get our downstairs bathroom completed, Paul and his team fixed the problems and completed the job beautifully in a matter of days. Any future projects, we'll be calling Paul first.

Paul and his team are masters of knowledge, perfection, skills, cost, and budgeting. Paul did an awesome job of creating one room into 2 rooms for me which included new walls, doors, baseboard and laminate flooring done to perfection. The rooms are located in the basement, where it was very dark, now it is fresh and bright. Paul has also done numerous repairs and replacements that were a necessity in my townhouse ranging from plumbing to painting to folding door repairs. I recommend Paul to everyone...cause he is the best!

We hired Paul to do our bathroom and our closet recently and so far they've been great to work with. They came up with some of the ideas and are very adaptive to our design.
