Backyard Landscaping

The end product of my backyard was just amazing I loved how it looked ! The company was really easy to work with, he had put outstanding effort into everything he did, was never late to the job site, and was very organized on site. Once the job was done the cleanup of the yard was wonderful. When I looked outside my house I was able to just admire my nice new backyard!

Over-charged Me and is no longer communicating with me.

Alex told me that he would charge me $50/hr and that he would charge for travel time and I agreed.

Sherwood Park is 45 mins from my home he said he charged me 2 hours of travel time which is fine. The issue is that he was only here for an hour, did a few minor fixes, and charged me for 4 hours intead of 3.

1 hour to travel here, 1 hour of work, and 1 hour of travel back to his shop is 3 hours NOT 4. I have all the times documented.

When I reached out to him via email about the mistake he defended the charge by reiterating that he charged me for travel time. I tried texting and calling to explain the error to him and he won't return my call.

As senior on a fixed income 1 hr of charges is a big deal to me. I basically paid him $200 for 2 screws and to fix a screen which didnt stay fixed.

I tried to work it out nicely directly with him but now that he won't speak to me this was my only recourse. He might be a good handyman but he can't add.

I am sorry you feel that way Cathie. I drove from highway 14 by Sherwood park. All the way to spruce grove. One way is one hour. To fix everything you needed it took me an hour. I told you when I first started the job it was gonna be around 200$. After I completed the job. I sent you an invoice. You paid it without asking any questions. Your were super happy. Next time ask questions if you have any concerns......
