I called Derek as I needed soil for the garden beds. He was very prompt to reply to my request. He had the soil delivered the next day. His crew was very friendly and efficient.

Derek and his team at Cali Construction have completed two jobs for us. The first job was the landscaping of our backyard after we put in a pool. His work was excellent, and he was a pleasure to work with. We called on him again to do interlock work for our side yard. He was efficient, professional, and the work was top notch. Needed to replace our concrete walkway with a tight timeline. Derek from Cali worked with us to figure out a good layout and was fast in getting the job done. Ended up choosing stone slabs, looks great and really upgrades the exterior of the house.

Contacted Derek to help out with our front yard interlock: he was very pleasant and understanding of what we wanted. He was able to work efficiently and provided us with much more than what we expected! We are very happy and most definitely recommend him!

I have used Derek and team for several jobs over the last few years. From start to finish Derek has been up front about cost and timing and followed through according to plan. His team does great work, from doing a full driveway and side walkway in interlock to building a French drain and solving drainage issues I was having. He has even come to my rescue when I’ve had issues with other contractors to correct mistakes. He is very professional, provides competitive quotes and his team keeps a clean job site. Needed to have front yard re-done contacted Cali, who were very respectful and came up to the house to assess and give feedback. The company was very thorough and kept everything tidy and clean. The company was very reasonable with their cost. I would recommend their services to family and friends. They did a wonderful job with the front lawn and my wife and I couldn’t be happier.

We hired Cali Construction and Design 3 years ago to redo our interlocking on our front entrance from a friend’s recommendation. From our first time working with them, we were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. So much so, that we decided to go ahead with having Derek re-design our 20 year old interlocking around the entire house and backyard the next year. They were very efficient despite having to work through extreme heat that summer. We are so happy with the final results, we actually enjoy spending time in our backyard now!

Cali Construction and Design were amazing from start to finish. They came highly recommended by a friend and I'm so glad they were! Derek and his crew were professional, punctual and dedicated to making sure my vision of a backyard oasis came to life. We started a few years ago with a horizontal fence and an interlock patio. Since then, they’ve been back to plant cedars, build a second interlock patio surrounded with boxwoods, a side interlock walkway, asphalt driveway with a 90ft interlock border, concrete garage floor demolition, and yearly gardening maintenance.
