On Point Masonry Repair

Great work. Professional, friendly, great communication. While I hope we never have a car crash through our home again I know that I will call on On Point Masonry repair for any future work I need.

The house is about 1945, had a walk out hole with a wood door frame in it, was boarded outside covered with galvanized sheet metal, was never used (no door was installed from new). We wanted it removed and blocked up.

Called Dave in to quote, went over some minor stuff like jack posts for the main floor ceiling, we have an excuvator so would dig outside (with his direction). was very happy, accepted the estimate within 12 hours.

We dug out the hole (outside) ourselves with Daves size guidance about a day before, on arrival the work was completed shockingly fast (about 7 hours). We will be back filling the hole (as agreed before work started) in the next few weeks.

We have more work for Dave so will be having him back to update and remove some other parts around the house. Pictures here. before and after.

I work as a masonry contractor myself and often times I have called on the services of On point to assist or to consult on projects that require certain expertise. Dave the lead mason and owner is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of masonry old or new. If the jobs needs doing these guys really get it done! I highly recommend these guys!

We hired On Point Masonry to remove the old parging that was falling off our house and apply new parging. They also did some foundation repair work.

We were very impressed with Dave and his team. When he came out to do the estimate he was very detailed on what needed to be done and explained it well. I needed the bricks repaired in order to get a new roof completed. Dave was quick to respond and the work was done in good time. The bricks look great.

During heavy rainfall discovered a puddle on our basement floor. Called Daves company Sunday evening and came to inspect on the next day. Dave identified the area he suspected there was a crack in the foundation, thoroughly explained how he would fix it and the price to do the job. Dave was so knowledgeable and trustworthy. We hired him to do the repair without getting any additional quotes from other companies which is something we usually do. Dave was punctual, polite, thorough and very clean.
