I researched standby generators and decided Kohler offered the most robust and dependable unit. GECO Industries in Campbellford provided an excellent local installation and follow up. We are nicely set up now and comfortable in our home with no worries about the inconvenience and potential for damage and loss from grid interruptions or outages. It’s a good feeling.

The Geco staff were very professional with everything being well co-ordinated with the other work crews (Hydro One, ESA and Union Gas). There were no glitches and everything went smoothly. This being an old house with a small basement, it was a wonder that they did not run into problems with the install as the hydro meter was on one side of the house and the gas meter on the other. The technician went through everything with the generator/disconnect switch to show me how it worked. I would highly recommend Geco Industries to anyone thinking about getting a residential generator. I wanted one that would run the
whole house in the event that we lost power and talked with Helm on
what one would be best for our needs and peace of mind.
Start to finish it was A+++ all the way.

Consulted with Helm, and he is very knowledgeable about the available equipment and our needs. Made arrangements for an install. Was notified, up front, about the reality of delays due to Pandemic related supply chain disruptions. Once the deposit was paid, we were frequently updated by the crew at Geco. Once the parts were available, the install happened as planned with no issues or delays. The installers were organized, professional and happy. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Then Geco follows up regularly to make sure that we are fully satisfied. I wish more businesses respected customers this way.

Had the team from Geco come out and install our Kohler Generator. Every appointment was on time and everything went exactly according to plan. We had it installed last fall, just before a 50 hour power blackout
in Trent Hills. The Kohler performed perfectly ! Thanks Geco Guys !!!
