My parents found a yellow jacket nest on the eavestrough by their front door. I booked Pestko through their website and got a timely appointment. I emailed Homestars for quotes and within an hour I received a call from Darrell from Pestko on Monday. We set up an appointment for the next day. Darrell was very knowledgeable about these insects.
They had nested in the brick in the bay window and a few had found their way into my house. He told me about the type of chemical he was using and treated the area safely. He performed a perimeter search for other nests. He found a couple of nests in the fence in the backyard and treated these as well. I would highly recommend Pestko.

Darrell showed up on time, took care of a small family of squirrels that found their way into my attic. He’s very knowledgeable and helped me close up the hole as well. Highly recommended for any pest trouble.

Had squirrels in our soffit above garage and porch. Darrell took the time to check the inside attic and all around the house to find openings and then place a one way trap to allow the squirrels to get out but not in.

While inspecting he also noticed carpenter ants. Given we had noticed more ants around the house / on the walls and even some in the house this year we had him take care of those little pests too.

Darrell responded to our request to investigate noise in the attic and to determine the cause of it within minutes. He proved to be a very knowledgeable and very meticulous specialist. He carefully inspected not only the attic but basement, crawling space and other parts of the house where rodents may hide. He placed baits in multiple places. To make sure that he did not miss anything he inspected exterior perimeter of the house, providing useful advices along the way. We thought that he provided a very thorough service. He will be back in 4 weeks to check the results and to determine whether subsequent actions are needed. We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Darrell responded to my HomeStars service request promptly regarding rats on my property. We exchanged a couple of emails to confirm details and he arrived as per the agreed time. He is knowledgeable and was specific as to the services he would provide, the cost, the expected results and follow up.

Darrell was AWESOME! He called within a couple of minutes of posting a quote request. He was very professional over the phone and was able to assess what the issue was (I heard noises in our attic, but did not know what it was. After answering his questions he knew it was squirrels and was confirmed when he came). He scheduled us in for first thing the next day. He looked in the main attic and didn't see anything. He looked in the side attics and could immediately see and hear the squirrels. He was very patient and thorough when explaining everything that he was going to do and what we needed to do after he set the live trap and left. He managed our expectations by telling us that squirrels were smart creatures and so a live capture could take some time. He checked in with me a couple of times that day and the next, but no squirrels in the trap. When he came back first thing in the morning on day 3, he checked the trap and found 2 squirrels in there and a 3rd one loose in the attic. He took the trap to a park and released them and then came back to reset the trap for the 3rd squirrel. Again, he checked in with me a couple of times that day and the next to see if there was any updates. He came back again on day 5 to see if the 3rd squirrel was caught. He looked around, and assessed the situation and determined that no one remained and they probably left. He then sealed the hole that they came through in our roof. He gave thorough instructions on what to look out for and would come back if the squirrels found their way back.

As I said Darrell is AWESOME and AMAZING! He is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and hand holds you through the entire process. He is by the book and very thorough in his performance. He won't rest until the job is finished to the satisfaction of the customer and beyond as he has very high standards. Though his business is small (he is a one man shop), he has a lot of experience and wants to do things right for his customers.

Asked for a quote via Homestars and Darrell called within minutes. He was ready to take action and came equipped for whatever the issue calls for. He placed humane traps and took him time exploring the inside and outside of the house where the rodents may be traveling. Provided some followups and will see him in 3-4 weeks to make sure the problem is solved. Highly knowledgable and would recommend.
