Climbing Bear Tree Care

We hired Climbing Bear Tree Company to look at a few very large, older trees that were showing signs of damage/rot. Colin came to our house within days of contacting him, listened carefully to our concerns, gave us his assessment of the trees and recommended route plus options, depending on our wishes. This last part really impressed me because it showed his ability to understand our wishes within the scope of what the trees needed. In other words, he didn't take a 'slash and burn' approach.
We worked out a mutually agreeable price (with written quote ), date to do the work, and he showed up on schedule, and on time. He and his partner got straight to work, with all the proper safety equipment, and carried out everything as quoted. He also provided further information about our trees once he got up to the trouble spots. He seems to know a lot about the different species, works with preservation in mind, and is very good at communicating his ideas. I would hire this company again, and recommend them to others in the Ottawa area.

Colin does amazing work. We had 3 large fir trees in our backyard that need trimming/care while we needed advice on how to tend to them in future. Colin did an amazing trimming job on the trees (from the top down) in the beginning of Dec and winter. His expert knowledge took care of the trees’ immediate needs while he reassurred us that all was well with the trees going forward with certain minimal care. Colin is a wealth of knowledge, does great work and is fair and reasonably priced.

Colin is an amazing arborist. He is extremely knowledgeable. I had an overgrown locust tree and many overgrown cedar bushes. I hired Colin to prune the tree and remove the cedars. He was prompt and worked very hard. He did such an excellent job pruning the locust that my neighbour came over and complimented the work.

Colin came and quoted us on our backyard manitoba maple. It's a bit of a nuisance, but the only tree we have, so we wanted to preserve it. There was lots of big dead branches that needed to be removed because they were over our garage. Colin and his team came and did an amazing job -- they finished in about 6 hours and they left my property spotless. I would highly recommend Climbing Bear Tree Care!!!
