I requested my basement renovation to be completed for the sale of my home. With a tight timeline, the crew was assembled and put to work within three weeks. The sales team and trades workers were wonderful to deal with. Their commitment to customer service, their work, and dealing with my family was wonderful. Completely accommodating and easy to communicate with. There use of technology paired with personal skill could not be matched by other companies. Assured Basements, true to their name give you that sense of assurance in their work from the beginning till the end of the project. They stand by their word and see that the entire job gets completed to our complete satisfaction. Our basement project was completed in 5-6 weeks as they promised.

I had been desperately and patiently looking for a basement contractor for several months and when we came across Assured Basements we knew we have found the right one. We signed the contract without hesitation on our first meeting with Muneeb who made us feel comfortable and confident about every aspect of the project and dealt with it very professionally. Our next meeting was with Ryan, Andrej and Hollis who with their expertise mapped out the entire layout planning everything accurately based on our requirements.

Our experience at the design center with Ryan was great. Even though I kept changing my mind about my choices, he was patient, friendly and very helpful so the entire process of selection was smooth. Not only that, he worked with every detail at every stage of the project to see that we are 100% happy and fully satisfied with their work. Through out the entire project Ryan, Andrej, Hollis, Nathan and the rest of the team dealt with everything in a very professional manner. Each and every one of their crew did a neat job and even cleaned up before they left everyday.
What impressed us most was the transparency of their dealing, their honesty, sincerity and dedication to work.

Their app called the 'Buildertrend' is amazing. You have to instal it on your phone. It shows you not only your invoices, design selections etc, but the entire schedule for your project so you know what work is being done and when - whether it is framing, electrical, plumbing etc. This app plus the whats app group made it easy for us to communicate with the entire team so that we we were up to date with the entire project.

Another important point to mention is that Assured basements meet with all the fire safety and electrical codes (they give you the ESA certificate once the electrical work is completed) as well as mould protection guarantee thus ensuring health and safety in your basement space.

Dedicated, hard working, meticulous, efficient, responsible, reliable and above all very professional are just a few words to describe the Assured team because they deserve much more than that.

I cannot forget to mention Peter who did an excellent job building our staircase, staining the steps so perfectly that gave them a natural look. What a smooth and beautiful finish! Also hats off to Nathan who not just managed the entire project professionally but also completed all the finishing touches happily with a smile on his face, without showing any displeasure to the minutest flaws I pointed out (picky as I am) such as a nick in the wall etc.

Thank you Muneeb, Ryan, Andrej, Hollis, Nathan, Peter and the rest of the entire Assured Basements team for your great work and excellent service. Our basement now looks so spacious and beautiful and we love it. We can never be more happy!

Extremely happy with the experience

I appreciate that the team led with advice as this was my first major home renovation. From start to finish, communication was excellent and I was provided with options that met my needs and goals.

Very thankful that they fully respected my budget and there were no shocking overruns and we were able to pivot easily when inventory issues arose. The transparency of each cost was greatly appreciated and really set them above everyone else during the planning stage

Ryan, Mike, Katarina, Andrej, Nathan and the whole team were a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to plan my next project with them!

We decided to finish our basement as we needed more space in the home. Did a lot of research and had a lot of quotes but Assured made us feel comfortable from the beginning. We knew that if we were going to go through with this investment, we would need to do it right. This meant a reputable company that would do everything right and professionally.

From the initial meeting (Mike) to the 2nd meeting with Andrej and Ryan to map out the layout, Assured was professional. They use a app called buildertrend which organizes the schedule and is basically used for every aspect of the project. Met Ahmed (project manager) who was on-site often for the first 2 weeks and ensured the initial framing, electrical, HVAC were done right and on time. There were some small delays towards the end of the project but they were still able to complete it in 5-6 weeks. Every member of the team was professional, and cleaned up after themselves almost every day.

Once the project was completed, Assured made sure we were happy. There were some small post-construction fixes that were required and they came back, no issues, to fix them. They also come with a workmanship guarantee, ESA qualification (was very important to us), and mould protection guarantee.

TIP: like any large project, make sure the layout and materials are exactly what you want from the beginning and prior to signing the final contract, as any changes do cost money.

Can’t say enough about the crew that came out to do the work - Nathan, Victor, Ahmed, Enrique, Andrej, Moe and Edgardo (electrical), Douglas, Leo (fabulous tile job!) - if I am forgetting anyone it’s because I didn’t get everyone’s names, but what an amazing team!! So so hardworking, meticulous, conscientious and very respectful of our home and family. Thank you so much!!

Just had my basement renovated and we are very pleased with the quality and professionalism of work done by Assured Basement. Project manager Perry is professional, kind, and was very easy to communicate with. He kept us current with job status and everything was done as per schedule. We found the Assured Basement contractors were very hard working and reliable, showing up on time and cleaning up daily. From day one of cleaning damaged flooring to subfloor and laminate installation, drywall finishing, and painting were simply outstanding. Perry always listened to our concerns during the process and the project was completed on time.

It is very rare to find people in the construction business to be honest and forthcoming. We are extremely satisfied with the results and highly recommend Assured Basement for your renovation needs.

The main reason I went with Assured basements was the scheduling system they use. The service they use is Builder trend and the tool can be accessed via web browser or mobile app. It includes all aspects of the job; selections, scheduling and billing. Worked great and was easy to keep on top of all items that were being done.
There were problems with the finished product but Assured made sure that all was up to expectations. Even though there were things that were not right I did not feel like they just walked away, the stood by the work and made it right. Things do wrong but what you need is to be confident that it will be made right and Assured did that for us. What else can you ask.
The team is easy to reach and follow up is quick.

Assured basements did a fantastic job in completing our basement. We could not be happier on how the basement turned out. Their workmanship and professionalism was exceptional. The use of software/app to track progress and cost was both efficient and transparent. They were very responsive and helped us navigate some tricky engineering work. Every member of assured crew were very good but I would like to especially thank Ryan, Andre , Michael and Ahmed. I highly recommend assured for any type of building/basement work.

Our project was to finish a unfinished basement area. Our basement is quite small so the first challenge was to get a layout that would optimise the space. We wanted to get a rec room, storage space and a washroom/laundry room built in under 550sq ft.

The process with Assured started with a first draft of the layout which gave us an actual estimate of what it was going to cost us to build and a layout down to the measurements to visualise the space. Step two was an engineering drawing of the layout which included every component of the build counted in to it, including lights, fans, switches etc. The project manager helped finalise all details before any work began so there were no surprises for anyone going forward. There on, the project was managed with zero intervention required from us. Everyday a new team would come in that specialised in the work that was required to be done. Every one who showed up knew exactly what they had to do, any questions were answered directly by the project manager. The materials were all delivered ahead of the work that was supposed to happen so no one was waiting for anything to do the job they had to do. Every single team member that walked in was extremely courteous and made us feel like they were working on their own home. Always happy to answer any questions you had and give you the peace of mind you need through your project.
Schedule and progress is tracked through their online system which is updated with pictures and comments daily. You always know what is planned for when and the schedule is followed very closely.
Our overall experience with the Assured team was fantastic, they are a group of very professional individuals who take pride in the quality of work and service they delivered. Our project was delayed a few days due to COVID related reasons but otherwise finished right on schedule. The team even went an extra mile in helping up refinish some dents and scuffs on walls that were not a part of their project at all. I would rate them 20 on 10 if I could, would not think twice in recommending them.
