From the first interaction with Derek to the finishing of the job, Derek was nothing short of amazing and professional. Based on the 3 quotes we received, Derek's was the most reasonable and he actually seemed interested in doing the work. He put us at ease and answered any questions we had. He always was prompt with correspondence and always arrived onsite at the agreed upon time. We are extremely impressed by the results of both the indoor and outdoor pot lights. I recently needed to have some exterior pot lights installed. It wasn't a large project. I found Canon Electric on Kijiji in Durham and sent an email. I received a response after a few days and we arranged a meeting with Derek within a few days. The project was completed professionally, on time, and at the quoted cost. Had some issues with my lights and receptacles not working in my upstairs bedrooms. A friend of mine referred Canon Electric . Just bought my first home in Bowmanville needed cat6 cables and cameras installed. Decided to give canon electric a call and spoke to a man named Derek he was super professional on the phone and told me he would take care of all my needs. Derek showed up on time and ran 7 cat6 cables all over the house and installed 2 outdoor cameras for me, at the end of the job he took the time to show me everything and made sure I was happy with it. I was actually surprised about the total cost it was much cheaper than I anticipated and the work that was done was top notch. If you’re looking for a fair well priced electrician that won’t gouge you at every opportunity call this man you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to install potlight in hallway, kitchen and formal living room. I saw the posting by Canon Electric and contacted Derek. He was super prompt in his responses and was straight forward with his pricing. He arrived right on time and in over 4 hours he completely changed the lightings in my home so much so my wife asked to give him a tip as well. I had never experienced such a super friendly electrician who ensures to clean up after the work so there is very less work for home owner.
