Chris and his partner were on time, work efficiently and effectively . Got the job done within time scheduled and cleaned up the mess immediately.

Amazing job! Chis and his team made our tree look fantastic and so much healthier. They left the yard looking better than when they arrived and we loved how knowledgeable Chris was about the health of the tree and what to expect. Can't recommend these guys any 'higher' :)

We hired Chris and his crew to remove a dying Colorado Blue Spruce from our front yard. We had quotes from 3 different vendors before choosing Higher Place Tree care. What set Chris apart was his professionalism and his willingness to walk me through the entire process - from the creation of the arborist report, to obtaining a city permit and then to the actual tree removal and stump grinding. On the day of the actual tree removal work, he arrived on time and systematically went about his work. As an engineer myself, I really appreciated the methodical way he and his team cut the tree in sections and then strategically used a series of ropes and pulleys to bring down the final 30 foot section of the trunk while using other cut down sections to cushion the fall and minimize collateral damage to my lawn. The cleanup was also very well done and my neighbours have commented that it looks even cleaner than before they did the job. Overall we are very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to utilize the services of Chris and his team again. Great work

He removed several out of control shrubs and trees on our property. Came for the estimate on time, wearing a mask as requested. He was very thorough and pleasant and was able to schedule in a timely manner. Everything was done in a few hours and you can’t even tell there were giant trees and shrubs there before!!! Stumps are ground down to oblivion!! Very happy, will call him again when the rest of our greenery gets out of control :)

I asked Chris to have a look at a very difficult trimming job. He was there to give a quote as soon as I finished typing it seemed, and he gave a fair quote, with better understanding of the job, and the tree, than any other arborist who'd tackled this old tree. He communicated extremely well. He showed up on time with his men and did a wonderful, and very difficult, job--so well the neighbours also spoke their appreciation. He left a clean site. Very shortly thereafter we needed a tree removed; again, great communication, fair price and he juggled things for us to fit the work in about a month before he actually had an opening. He even helped us move stuff to prepare the site. In a perfect world, every experience of buying services would be like this--expeert, pleasant, honest and leaving you feeling your business really meant something. I'm going to plant more trees just so I can hire Chris to come and cut them down someday. Thanks, Chris.

Chris did a great job removing the four shrubs in our backyard. He was quick, thorough, neat and very professional. My husband and I were so pleased with his work that we asked him to remove a couple of fair sized trees in my mother-in-law's backyard. He did that job with the same dedication.
