We highly recommend Michael and Alan and their great crew for your next project. They did an amazing job renovating our front porch and replacing an aging fence on our property. Their attention to detail, design suggestions, care in construction, courteousness and pride in workmanship was greatly appreciated. They go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with the product. They kept us informed about the various stages of construction and were most accommodating with changes we made as the project progressed. We enjoyed working with these great people and will do so again on future projects.

Mike and Alan are the best of the best. The have built a pergola for us in our backyard spanning almost half of the area and it was SO MUCH BETTER than we even thought it would be.

They came by several times with designs and recommendations, went above and beyond during the construction of it, and were always courteous and informing of any change, and anything else needed ahead of time. They work really hard to meet the timelines they set out and even their whole crew is just really awesome and really respectful.

The are the kind of people that will come back and redo something you didn't even notice because they think it could have been done better. They care about quality and the price you pay for their work is well worth it.

I met Michael and Alan via a referral on NextDoor and was not disappointed. The project was to transform my frontage to improve the curb-appeal of my home and to update/replace the fence sections and raised garden bed to enhance the backyard for its all-season usage.

The front project included replacing the deteriorated brick walk-way with a clean, fresh poured concrete walk, retiling the stoop and adding raised garden beds. Many of my neighbors stopped by to comment on the wonderful improvement and we were the talk of cul-de-sac for weeks as the project progressed.

Michael is a detailed and thorough contractor. My quotes included all aspects of the project as well as frequent updates so there were no surprises. His team members were skillful craftsmen and the quality of the work superb. The project plan included the time-frame for each section of work which helped to set expectations, especially as weather conditions can wreak havoc with best-laid outdoor project plans.

I met Alan several years ago by fate, while walking my dog. A storm had rolled in a few days prior and taken out many fences in the neighbourhood, including one of mine. Alan was fully booked, but since he was already doing work on my street he said he’d have a look and see what he could do. Not only did he manage to squeeze me into his busy schedule, but he built me an entirely new fence that is beautiful, sturdy, and exceeded my expectations in every way. When my dishwasher leaked causing water damage to my kitchen and basement a year later, Alan was my contractor of choice. The sign of a good contractor is that they are always fully booked, and this time I had to wait a couple of months for Alan to start the job. Let me say he was absolutely worth the wait. He showed up when he said he would. He communicated well. His eye for detail was unparalleled.

My deck and other fence needed replacing this year, and of course Alan was my first call. I was delighted to learn that Alan has a new business partner, Michael. Michael has the same eye for detail as Alan, and both are excellent communicators. They show up when they say they will, produce high quality work, and are hands-on with their crews. I am sure my house will need more work over the coming years, and there is no other contractor I intend to use!

Michael was recommended by a friend as a reliable and detail oriented guy. We appreciated his flexibility in accommodating several changes on the go, such as replace all kitchen cabinets, remove bathroom tub and replace it with a beautiful shower or changes to the original lighting -all at reasonable prices. Always available to discuss issues and replied to my messages/calls within minutes!
Michael worked tactfully with the Condo's Management Office, managed water shut offs and noise issues successfully.

Michael was amazing to work with! He built a cement pad in my backyard for me. Michael came the day after I called him to look at the job and he agreed to complete the pad for me...and he fit me in quite quickly. He made several calls and found the best price and method to do the cement (truck vs. mixer) and then made arrangements for the mixer. My job was completed a few days after I had contacted him!

Michael was very professional, hard working, and very knowledgeable. He does great work and he is very fair! He stands by his work.

Michael's quote was lower than every other one I had, but I got quality for my money. When the completed job came in under budget, I paid the lower price!

Michael and Alan are fantastic contractors and we had a very positive experience working with them on three projects in the winter/spring of 2020. They were honest, skillful, hard working, professional, and polite. They really take pride in their work and it shows.

The first project they did for us was to repair a plaster wall that had water damage from a leaky roof. Michael and Alan walked us through the work required to fix it and then executed on it. The wall now looks like brand new which is exactly what we wanted.

We had such a great experience on the first project that we asked Michael and Alan to quote us on a much larger backyard workshop build that involved design, demolition, concrete, framing, roofing, and electrical. Michael and Alan exceeded all our expectations and delivered us a beautiful work/storage space in our backyard (see photo). They made our dream a reality and provided great input along the way. We are very happy with the result and with the overall experience of working with them on a daily basis.

Lastly, we realized our fence needed replacement so it was a no-brainer to ask Michael and Alan to do the work. Again, they did amazing job and were a pleasure to work with which came as no surprise at this point.

In conclusion, hire these guys!
