I had a technician come out to assess the issue with my fridge I indicated I thought it might be the compressor and if it was I would not invest that kind of money in the fridge. I was told it was the memory board at a cost of approx $900 for parts and labour. I decided to go with the repair and was told it was a special order part so I'd have to wait 10 business days. I said are you sure it is Christmas and may be delayed and I was assured it would be in within the 10 business days, it was not it came after 15 business days. They put the memory board in and my fridge was still not working properly. The sent out the technician a second time and this time he happened to have a memory board in his truck (my old one is what I believe it was) and installed a second "new" memory board, which surprise did not fix the issue. They then sent out 2 technicians and told me it had to be the compressor. I'd like to clarify at no point have they checked or tested the compressor and just said it sounded fine. For an additional charge of $1,300 plus labour I could have this replaced. I said for the cost of both repairs I could have bought a replacement fridge. At this point the technician called his "Manager" and then called me back to say they would give me $200 off the compressor. I told him what he could do with the compressor and the "discount". I am appalled that the Manager did not have the decency to call me directly. I am appalled that Homestars allows this company to remain on their site. I believe this company is a sham, the take people to the cleaners and have no clue what they are doing because at no point did the technician take out any tools to test my compressor. I believe any positive reviews you find on here or anywhere about this company must have been posted by friends and family as I was taken to the cleaners spent $900 when I should have invested it in a new fridge. I will never make that mistake again.

we apologize about the inconvenience you had i would like to explain that when the order for any part is a special order we always order more than one part and keep in stock for future repairs and that time your part was under warranty when the technician came to visit your house as a No Charge before we dispatch a technician we have to make sure that he has all things in his truck to solve your problem because it does cost a company to sent out technician, as your problem was not solved we had our two technicians on the site for no additional charge but the compressor was shorting out the main control board again n again which we already replaced in warranty and no matter how many times we change it, it will be shorting the board out until we replace the compressor and compressor cannot be tested unless main board is good and sending power to the other components we feel sorry that we your parts which needed replacement were expensive we also offered your 220$ discount, as far as the concern that your expected the management to call you when the technician is on site he is representing a company and any thing which he offers to a customer is approved from management.
