Needed a few small problems investigated and repaired. He figured them all out and fixed them all very quickly and for a reasonable price. I recommend!

I had a long list of electrical jobs around the house (rental property/ residence) and “put it out there” on the home stars website. Within 2 days I had a site visit and quote in my inbox that was 30% less than the next bid because Eugene at Evolve said they could do it all in one day, instead of coming out twice.
The job included changing 3 fixtures, installing 4 ceiling fans (including an unusual model for tight spaces in a location without a junction box) and replacing a broken motion sensor light and pot light. Dermaine and Eugene showed up early enough to unpack all their tools/ supplies before the actual appointment and true to the prediction, they were done before 5pm. The quote did not change despite some challenges due to DIY efforts I inherited with the house, and they even removed non- functional smoke detectors “since (they’re) already here”.
I got great advice, great work, additional suggestions from knowledgeable, polite, and friendly guys, all for a price that was surprisingly good.
I will be calling them again: they are now my “go to guys” for electrical work.

Eugine and his apprentice, D, were on time, hard-working, clean, considerate, and fast. From the first contact, Eugine was friendly and energetic. He called and showed up on time – even willing to work in the evening! Additionally, we’ve received quotes from other companies, and Eugine was not only the best price but in comparison, did not up-sell us on items that were not needed. This is our first home, and as new-owners, his knowledge and advice was extremely helpful. We would recommend him thousand times over.

I dont have words to express my appreciation for sucn a good, honest and perfect job by Eugen and Crystal from EVOLVE ELECTRICAL SERVICES INC.

The OTHER contractor (not Evolve) I signed up earlier to build a legal basement in my house, left the job in between after he received most of the contract money (my stupidity). He used low class electrician who either did not know what he was doing or just doing a crappy job or was not getting paid good dollars. Other company even did not pull out contract from city to apply for Electric work.

After I get in touch with Eugene, he was able to explain to me all the concerns and issues, I have and provided straight forward resolution to the problem. He gave me a very very reasonable price and the best guarantee " I will only pay when I get electric certified". that was the highest level of confidence in his workmanship. Eugen got the work done, opening up some holes to pull/push new electric cables, put the pot lights, added more smoke/co/strobe, patch up holes, left some switch covers, just in case I need in future -

All got done very professionally by accommodating my time also. Usually, I expect an electrician to take away any goods, they replace, so they can use it for another job - but Eugen packed all devices from previous job nicely in a box and left those there.

Eugene is one of the very few honest persons, I have met while dealing in construction projects. He changed my mind about people in basement business. My thoughts after being burnt by 3 construction companies was that they are all ready to take every penny out of your pocket. I hired evolve to update plugs and switches in my home, Eugene arrived on time and was very pleasant did the work in a timely matter we’re very happy with the service I highly recommend Eugene and Evolve.

Eugene and Crystal did a great job to get all aspects of this project completed. From working with suppliers to cut down the 20-24 week lead time of the Generlink, to organizing the outage and the install of the new equipment. Working with Evolve Electrical was a pleasure.

We had removed a wall in the living room and Eugene moved wiring and installed a new outlet. He also installed sconces that required new wiring. We also had a ceiling fan that had previously fallen, and he reinstalled with an improved, reinforced box. There was also existing electrical work that had been done by someone else (shoddily) in the past, and Eugene was able to come up with solutions that ended up better than what we had. New potlights were installed and outlets/dimmers replaced. Eugene is dedicated, professional, positive and solutions-oriented. Would definitely hire again.

I am very glad that I've found Eugene (owner of Evolve electrical) here on Homestars. We've been having electrical issues in our detached garage (the breaker was tripping constantly). Eugene diagnosed the problem on his first visit, suggested a cost effective solution and fixed it during his second visit. He also went a step further and replaced all lighting fixtures in the garage, installed new weatherproof recepticle and corrected issues that the prior electrician left behing (which was the cause of problems for us in the first place). He is efficient, punctual & honest.

Eugene installed pot lights, switches, plugs and a new exhaust fan. His work was not only neat and clean, but thorough and excellent. Being a trade person myself I appreciate his work and how he cleaned up after himself to - even after telling him not to worry. Great job and will be using him for every job going forward. Installed two electrical plugs. He arrived the day after I called, at the time agreed upon. He kept to the quoted amount. I was glad it was finished as it was holding up other work to be done.
