Three bathroom vents were replaced with new and bird proof vents. In addition, cleaning and caulking of a section of the eavestrough that had a leak. Rob was professional, prompt and cared about getting the job done right. Judith was very helpful and accommodating with scope changes. Very responsive and followed up after job was done.

Rj Construction Design was one of a number of contractors who submitted quotes via HomeStars for my consideration. I ultimately went with Rj as their quote was competitive and they were by far the friendliest contractors who took the time to provide a quote. Rob and Judith are salt of the earth, lovely people and Rob has a wealth of experience over a wide range of services.

The work was completed within the estimated time and the quality of the work was quite good. I would certainly recommend Rj for handyman-type jobs of this nature, and would use them again without hesitation for other jobs that will no doubt arise in my home. Since Rj quotes by the day or half-day, it is essential that you do all the prep necessary so that they can get into doing the work asap. I cleared access to all faucets and to the kitchen area where the backsplash was being installed so that Rj could spend the time installing the fixtures without having to spend time clearing away items from areas in advance of doing the work.

I had two closets that needed freshening up and redesign. Judith was extremely responsive and the job was complete as per our contract. Robert came daily on time and left our house in as pristine cleanliness as one could be during construction. We were pleased with the final look of the closets and the new doors.

These people were amazing and I would have no hesitation is using them again. It was such a rare pleasure to work with conscientious professionals who showed up on time, did the work properly and cleaned up when they finished the job. We were kept informed of progress every evening before they left and I can’t believe how lucky we were to find them. Reno’s can be a nightmare but Not only was ours painless but the workmanship was superb. Well done RJ. Contractors !

Robert and Brandon arrived promptly and upon seeing the old dishwasher, Robert explained everything he was going to do. I can tell - these two are good people and their business cares about the community. They took about 1.5 to 2 hours, removing the old and installing the new dishwasher. They did a great job, even cleaning up after themselves. I will definitely keep them in mind for when I’m ready to update our kitchen. Thanks, Robert, Brandon and Judith! Loving my new dishwasher!
