The company replaced our drive way and the side walk in June 2020. For the last 5 years, we did yearly some home related projects (roofing, deck, landscaping, etc), by far, Wade and his crew was by far the most professional and pleasant one to deal with. I am an immigrate and have little experience dealing with such thing. Wade was patient and spent his time explaining to me the details of the project. The quote was clearly done and the project was done in a timely manner. What impressed me the most was the screw seems to be happy working hard on the project, pays attention to the details and gets the project done extremely nicely and professionally. I fully recommend the company to anyone for concrete work.

A dedicated team that removed, prepped, poured and finished the driveway in 3.5 days. The final cost was within the quoted price and Wade was available via text to answer all questions quickly. The crew were respectful of the landscaping and their daily cleanup was fantastic; no angry neighbors! After 30 days, they came and removed the barriers (which were nice to have to prevent cars from driving on the new concrete) and the applied a second application of sealant. We bought a house with a totally rotten garage floor and a bunch of cracking. Wade and his crew came in and in three days did the full demo of a very difficult floor to remove, cleaned'er up and poured a new floor with a drain in it which is a joy to work on. The neighbours commented to me how nice it was to have contractors around who clean up all their stuff every night, move vehicles off the street and show up looking professional. Super happy with the work, the team and the price. (more picts to come once I move the rest of my boxes off it!)

Wade is very knowledgeable, when he came to do the estimate, he took the time to explain step by step the process and the materials that were going to use. Everything was done as told.
Wade and his crew provided outstanding workmanship with extreme attention to detail. When they came to remove and replace our driveway and sidewalk, Wade suggested changing the shape of the concrete going to the home entrance. What an improvement!
They took the time each day to make sure the area was cleaned up before they left. They even returned to put back the paving stones and rocks we had along the driveway that they had removed to do their job.

Workers are experienced, professional and respectful. Old walk and drive was removed in the first day. The road crush base and forms were installed the second day. Rebar on 12" centers installed the third day. New concrete placed and finished on the fourth day. The work are was kept safe using barricades, pylons and caution tape. The road in front of the drive was swept clean at the close of each days work. The team was open and receptive to concerns and communicated status as the project went along.

Our original 45 year old driveway had deteriorated and was time for a replacement. I reviewed the contractor reviews on this site and called a few for a quotations. Wade was able to come almost right away to the house and explained why the existing driveway was as it is, what they do to overcome these failures today, the work scope I can expect and finally a detailed quote. Wade scheduled us for the start of the construction season and arrived with all the equipment and material needed to commence. During removal Rick and the men were very thoughtful of the house, the area around the driveway as well as the neighbours either with noise or debris always cleaning up the area at the end of the day. During the preparation Rick took the time to explain why they do it this way and how this is a better construction technique than what was done years before. The pouring of cement and finishing was completed in a morning by a husband and wife team that are truly experienced experts. The driveway and sidewalk looks great, was constructed properly and am very happy with Wade, Rick, the men and all at Concrete Replacement Experts for the care and attention to my project. The final cost was exactly as quoted. Very highly recommended.

THIS SUMMER I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE TO MY DRIVEWAY REPLACEMENT. THE BOYS WERE VERY POLITE, HONEST AND CLEANED UP THE MESS WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE. THE PRICE WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE QUOATE. THEY ALL WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS EXPECTED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Our large driveway was due for a replacement after our full house renovation. We had a friend of a friend who was to finish the job. They poorly framed and placed the rebars in the driveway. Things were not going well when procrastination kicked in. We figured something was happening when no one was showing up to work. Later, the guy stood us up a little before the concrete season was to end for 2019 and he did not finish the job. Thankfully, we were accommodated quickly without any hesitations considering our circumstances. Wade and Rick stepped in just in time to correct the rebar and finish our driveway properly before winter. Not only were they extremely professional, but they were very friendly, honest, personable and reasonably priced. The team is amazing with the best of manners and very clean. Rick even back filled the grass areas and built barriers to put along the driveway to prevent any traffic from entering. The quality of work is outstanding. We are very happy we had Concrete Replacement Experts replace our 45 year old crumbling driveway.
We started our journey by reading online reviews of concrete companies in the Edmonton area. We requested quotations from three of the best reviewed ones. All three quotes were competitive but we chose Concrete Replacement Experts because we liked their detailed quote, which laid out the specifics of the demolition and removal of the old driveway and the supply and installation of the new one. Wade came out, explained the process, listened to our ideas and concerns, offered suggestions, and completed the quotation on site. The entire process took about an hour.
The work crew was very professional, friendly and efficient, they demolished our old driveway and removed the debris in two days. Another two days to prepare the ground by framing, installing ground crush, tamping, and installing rebar. Care was taken to ensure proper grading for water runoff and drainage. Rick, the foreman, even suggested replacing our sidewalk with a new one that was up to code. Another day to do the preparation for the new sidewalk and we were ready to go.
They timed the concrete pouring with clement weather, they weren’t in a hurry to get the job done, they waited for as ideal weather conditions as possible. The concrete pouring team consisted of a pumper truck and a two person team to spread the concrete. It took about two hours to pour and spread the concrete and another two to finish spreading and broom it. The husband and wife team were truly masters of their craft, with 55 plus years combined experience. The concrete contractor said “you’re only as good as your last job” - boy, are they good!
The end result was a beautiful new driveway and sidewalk that is the talk of our St. Albert neighbourhood. We couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend this company.
