A friend recommended Jakub to me for my backyard project. He is very knowledgeable and helped me create exactly what I visualized. Im extremely happy and pleased with the final result of my patio. Jakub and his team are professional and I highly recommend them.

My parents decided to hire Phoenix landscape contracting for there interlocking patio and absolutely loved the result. Jakub went above and beyond their expectations. They are extremely satisfied with the end result. They will definitely hire him again for all future needs and highly recommend his services.

This entire experience has been a nightmare, so many promises but even more excuses. Hired to lift, re-tamp, re-lay the patio slabs. Scheduled for 4-5 days ... we're currently on day 20 ( and it's only 70% complete) Zero communication and when he is communicating its FAKE NEWS. And without permission he posted photos taking credit for backyard as if he created it.
His team is non existent ... so don't believe him when he days he has one - he'll take off multiple times from your job or just not show up til mid afternoon ... or best yet ..ghost you for multiple days.
We are aware he always has a couple jobs on the go. If timelines, commitment, and honesty aren't an issue then he's your guy. Good Luck.

I should have specified ... saying it was 70% done was a stretch ... but it was definitwly 100% shoddy, amateurish work. We needed to re-do all of your guaranteed so-called expert work.

The 3 ft retaining wall that he build is shifting at an 47 degre
Interlocking stones are separating and there is a space or 1 inch between
them. Promises, promises, he never was back in fix his mess, big talker, hot air but does not keep his word. Called him again for another estimate for a deck, he admitted that something when wrong in the interlocking job, was to be back and to fix it, ran away and never to be seen again, call 4 times, never calls back, act before it get too far. We recently had this company come out to look at our driveway,my wife and I have been struggling to come up with a solution to help dress up and improve are entrance to our home.
The moment that we spoke with the owner Jacobb we knew that we were in good hands.
He immediately came up with solutions that were elegant and very cost effective.
After we decided to take his advice,he we t over all the products and processes with him .it was very straight forward on what we were to expect.Once the process began he and his crew went to work and were very polite , clean, professional,and Jacobb always communicated with us throughout the process.when he gave us an estimate of completion I could not believe that it was possible, but sure enough he was bang on with his deadline.
I am currently re hiring thus company to begin another project for us. Highly recommended , definitely count on them to do you right.

This was my first project to get done at my new home - everything inside had already been done and then there was the backyard! It was overrun with weeds, old patio stones and a retaining "thing" because it was not a wall or even level with the ground.....Jakub was the 4th and the last contractor that came to survey and quote the job. By the end of the day i hired him and there he was Monday morning with Jason. of course nothing ever goes as predicted, challenge with the rotted wood the air conditioner was sitting on, the deck was tipping and not level, the window wells were not connected to the house - I could keep going... Jakub came up with perfect solutions and took care of leveling/strengthening the deck. Thank you Jakub to you & Jason and your team - look forward to the next project (a new fence)

I had an issue with my old backyard patio that Jacob did a great job of fixing. The patio had sunken in a number of places plus was sloped towards the house instead of away from it. Jacob re-levelled the entire area to ensure water stayed away from my house and as well recommended a small gravel pit area to improve overall drainage. He's smart, organized, cost-conscious and meticulous. His pricing was very fair.

Jakub made an agreement with my 85 year old nieghbour to remove and replace our shared fence without my prior knowledge. The version of a contract received was a written amount on the back of their business card.

The first day of the job they showed up at 330pm. They were late the second day too. I asked on day one and day two about getting a contract. Jakub said he would do it but it never appeared. I asked one of his labourers if they were putting in a shadow board fence. The employee didn’t even know what that was, which you would expect someone in the industry to be familiar with.

I was frustrated by day 3 of not having a contract or an agreement and said it was inappropriate to start a job without something in writing so everyone knew what the plan was. This resulted in Jakub calling me and yelling at me over the phone saying it was none of my business, I didn’t hire him and he doesn’t know why he has to deal with me.

I made it clear that it has everything to do with me since I co own the fence that was torn out and will partially own the one going in. Also his crew is on my property to do the install. He continued to be aggressive to the point of abusive on the phone until I told him that we would obviously not agree and I did not see the point in continuing the conversation.

In regards to the product. His business card contract did say 6 ft fence, however what was installed is only 5 feet high. Single sided and leaving one foot gaps in some places along the bottom.

To this day I have not seen a contract or a warranty for the fence.

It appears that this same person with the same phone number was previously running a business under the name Creative Ideas Landscaping that has a 38% star score and many reviews commenting on poor customer service, late arrivals to jobs, poor workmanship and unfinished work.

The work was excellent. I am very happy with the craftsmanship. Everyone was very polite and mannerly. I would highly recommend Phoenix Contracting. It's so nice to know that there are still companies who put quality first and have high standards.
