Avanti Landscaping And Construction

A few weeks ago, Avanti Landscaping worked on our property to our entire satisfaction. They did our driveway and two walkways to the front entrance with asphalt and interlocking stone respectively. Peter gave us a price quotation after ascertaining what we wanted done, and he coordinated the execution of the job and did the follow up. The team of workers that did the job was excellent. They worked very well together under Dimitry’s supervision and did an outstanding job exceeding our expectations. In fact, we are considering them for a major landscaping job on our property.
Although we are satisfied with the execution of the job, there are two caveats anybody considering availing themselves of the Avanti’s services should consider:
-- Make sure you define exactly what you need done and have it stated clearly in the quotation.
-- Make sure the job is totally completed before you make the final payment.

We were very happy with Avanti. We had an old back deck and some crumbling front steps and really wanted the front steps done before the winter.

Peter came and assessed the job and made some great recommendations and options. They booked us in quickly and started work in a matter of weeks from initial visit.

The work itself was great quality and the crew was fantastic - my neighbour (whose driveway is right next to the replaced front steps, and who was inevitably inconvenienced a bit) commented specifically on how great the crew was, how respectful, and that she wanted their info for her own steps in the future.

Adnan was supervising the deck and made some great recommendations on some last minute changes (which were both great ideas and reasonable to work into both the work and the price). Dimitri who was leading the crew most days was a work horse and had great attention to detail.

Overall, Peter and crew were just fantastic to work with - efficient, high quality work, keen attention to detail, and just good people.

Called Avanti and Peter came the next day to gather the information of the project and take measurements. Within a week they came back with a quote to grade the land, lay sod in the backyard, excavated the driveway, installed two retaining walls and prepped two walkways on each side of the house. One of the only trades I have felt with on this build that started before promised and finished on time. The crew was there every day at 7:30 ready to go. They are a great team of professionals. Peter, Edward, Dimitri and vera are great to work with, honest and most of all very polite and respectful. I will call them back for more work for sure and highly recommend them.

I had contacted three other companies based on personal recommendations and very positive HomeStars reviews. It was clear from the first meeting that Avanti Landscaping was head and shoulders above the others, with whom I had some just-bizarre experiences. Adnan came to look at what needed to be done, made recommendations, provided the quote and made sure everything was done at the end of the job. He, like many others in the company was very professional, respectful, and easy to work with. One of the laborers was also extraordinarily conscientious - at the end of the day, he made a point to separate my plywood and tools from Avanti's so that mine wouldn't get picked up accidentally the next day.

I'm not easily impressed, but I was with Avanti and will not hesitate to recommend them to any friends and colleagues who need landscaping work done.

Adnan and team were fantastic. I'm pleased with the end product and their service was very good -- they answered my many questions and responded with a positive, constructive, solution mindset (versus "can't do that...the previous person did a bad job" etc), every time. I'd go back to Adnan and team and recommend them to others.

I contracted Avanti to replace a 1955 concrete walkway at the front of the house that was cracked and uneven. While their price was higher than other estimates it was well worth going with Avanti. Adnan was very knowledgeable, helped us plan the project and answered all our questions. Avanti's crew showed up at 8 am on the scheduled date with all the equipment needed to do the job. They were very professional and highly efficient. Job was done in two days. Office staff was very helpful with explaining their billing practices. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Adnan rocks!  Very pleased with the professional service and final product delivered by Avanti Landscaping and Construction!  As the project manager, Adnan was instrumental as the face of the company and represented us every step of the way.  

This was by far the largest landscaping project we have undertaken, and Adnan and Avanti went above and beyond.

The scope included the rip-out (in many cases) and install of:
- new Permacon patios in the frontyard, backyard and the side walkway (my wife's favourite);
- front stairs with Banas flagstone (my personal favourite);
- extensive tree removal & perimeter wood fencing;
- wrought iron fencing along driveway;
- driveway surfacing with border Permacon;
- Tandem wall / Pillar;
- soft landscaping, including garden bed, river rock, plants & planting;
- jumbo and random 'stepping stone' flagstone;
- and the centrepiece Azek composite deck and glass railing

We had specific challenges such as grading, draining, re-use of front stair railing, and 'shed-proofing', and Avanti handled everything with professionalism.

We were very thorough upfront in researching landscaping companies, as well as gathering ideas in the scoping stages.  Adnan was very solution-oriented and was able to present us with great options that satisfied our every concern and ultimately this carried us through with great success to the end.  

Adnan's personable style was the lynchpin to the project's success.  The two foremen and the crew were a pleasure to deal with.  The owner stepped in on several occasions to ensure quality and to lend a hand.  Avanti was patient every step of the way and clearly fully dedicated to this client's 100% satisfaction.
