Excessively expensive for 1hour of labour and minimal parts. Very pleasant and professional plumber. Perhaps travel time costs were part of the bill? Will source local company for future work.

clogged drain

Service was same day had an extremely grease clogged main drain, which was cleared enough to use immediately. Drain King returned next day to jet wash the drain and remove the grease stuck to the sides of the pipe. Professional service, on time, explained what they were doing and was able to view the camera showing all clear to the road. Great job! thanks.

Kitchen facet leak

Imagine our dismay and panic when we realized on December 24th that our newly installed kitchen facet was leaking. We called around and was so relieved that Drain King was available and arrived just a few hours later with a quick fix saving our Christmas Day dinner plans! Very reasonable priced and service man was very respectful (wearing mask ) and had the solution in only minutes!!

The company has responded my call pleasantly and acted fast, The plumber was present after 2 hours. The block was removed less than an hour.
The Plumber:
1) Boots not covered while walking in the hardwood floor.
2) Adamant to listen, talking very rude
3) Tried to do more jobs without necessary.

Sump pump solution

Called Drain King re sump pump and very next day Tyler from Drain King came to inspect and ensure pump was working which he did. I mentioned to Tyler i had other concerns re maintaining the sump pump to which he was more than considerate in listening and offering his expertise and options to mitigate. He was honest, listened to my concerns no matter how uninformed it may have sounded to him. Thank-you Tyler and Drain King for very positive first impression.

This company is very professional but friendly.
They contacted me right away, when I put in a request and they were able to do the work next day.
The Service man wore a mask and covered his boots when in my home.
He was very informative and was able to fix the issues with my toilet.

Plumbing emergency

I live in Ottawa but own a house in Toronto. My tenant called me in a panic around 6PM as the outside water valve was leaking in a big way. I searched online and found Drain King Plumbers. They responded quickly and were at the house within 2 hours. They didn't demand cash upfront (an experience I have had with other places) but did the work and then called me the next day to finalize payment using my credit card. The plumber, Jon, explained to me over the phone what the situation was and offered useful information. Pleasant, professional and competent. Many thanks!

Leak from washing machine hose

I had a sudden leak from my washing machine, and contacted Drain King to come by. Mike, who came to assist with the problem, was very professional and competent. I was impressed that he was able to easily and quickly resolve the problem. Drain King is a bit more expensive than the competition, but the company clearly trains its technicians well, and I was very pleased with the results. I would not hesitate to use the company again for any plumbing-related matters.

Toilet Tank Loose

I was concerned as pipes had never been checked and wanted to ensure no issues to address. Michael looked at all pipes and identified only issue was toilet needed to be tightened. Michael was quick, efficient and very polite.
