We had an extensive renovation to the front yard, walkway and driveway that included the removal and reconstruction of the portico at our front door/porch. MSD was exceptional to work with from beginning to end of the project and were able to accommodate complicated permitting schedule and plan changes very smoothly without impact on overall quality and cost of the work. Marco knows his own company’s capabilities and when we approached him he directed us to get the assistance of a landscape designer and then executed to plan. The work place was always tidy and his crew is very skilled and efficient with a great work ethic. One thing that stood out for us was the communication and updates we received. We were always made aware of the project status and any questions we had were addressed promptly. We’d use them again and certainly recommend them to others.

We could not be more happy with our decision to go with MSD contracting. The level of service was all we had hoped for. We felt that when the changes to the scope occurred, revised pricing was fair and transparent. The advice that was provided by Marco during the project was based on experience and we always felt we were dealing with a company that had could do the job. Two years latter, ongoing service has also not stopped. I have personally recommend three close friends to MSD and the feedback I have received is top notch.

In a word, MSD Contracting was, EXCELLENT! Sandro & Marco and their entire crew are solid, hardworking professionals. Sandro managed our entire project and he is extremely easy to work with, he is a consummate professional, knows his stuff inside and out, and cares about the job and you, as his clients. He is very accessible and listens to understand everything you are looking for in the job. He does NOT cut corners, he believes in quality craftmanship and results. Our project was actually SEVERAL PROJECTS tied in together (Front Entrance & Steps & New Foundation/Garden walls & beds/Driveway/Walkways/Garage Foundation/Side Deck and Fence Gate/ Irrigation and Drainage). We did have a wonderful landscape designer who drew up the plans and Sandro walked us through the plan step by step, and his ability to schedule and coordinate all the different entities to bring it all together was nothing short of amazing. He is flexible and will always present you with different options to work within budget never compromising on quality or the esthetics or functionality. Sandro is an upstanding guy, and the proof is in the quality of his team .. his crew was phenomenal. Each guy cared just as much as Sandro that the project was coming together the way we envisioned it. They were thoughtful about our needs during the project as well as the safety of everyone involved. Sandro and his guys were a delight to work with. The entire project turned out better than we could have imagined ! I would refer MSD Contracting in a heartbeat !

Sandro and the team from MSD Contracting did an amazing job on our front landscaping work. Sandro came by on a few occasions to look at the site, provide recommendations, work with our ideas and he came back with a design that exceeded our expectations. He and his team were fast, clean and had incredible attention to detail ensuring we were happy at all stages of the work. We have had numerous compliments on the work and it has completely changed the front of our house. Dealing with Sandro was like dealing with a familiar friend. Sandro and the team from MSD Contracting did an absolutely amazing job of transforming an existing deck and walk-out into an incredible living space.
The new deck was done with Trex and RainEscapes, with the lower level with half-height brickwork pillars and modern trims. The patio stonework was shaped to make room for a firepit, and gas and electrical work was perfect.

What can we say other than a huge "THANK YOU". MSD Contracting was along our side throughout the construction of our pool and back yard. They were very in tuned with our needs and worked with us creating an oasis in our our backyard. They were able to link us with key people to assist with city bi-laws and professionals making our dream back yard into reality.
Sandro was very accessible and accomodating, even when there were changes to the plan, working with various trades persons to ensure the work being done was at the highest standard.

We have used MSD Contracting for exterior work on 2 occasions, at our old house in Vaughan and 7 years later at our current Toronto home. We were very happy both times. The first job involved widening a driveway using interlock and the job turned out very well. We parked on it for over 5 years and there was absolutely no movement of the stones at all. When we moved to our new house, we didn’t hesitate to call MSD again for recovering an old concrete front porch/steps with flagstone. After many freeze-thaw cycles, there has been no issues with stones coming loose or popping of any of the mortar joints. On both occasions, Marco was very helpful with suggesting the best materials and actually went with us to pick out and purchase stones. As they are sought after for their work, you have to book ahead, but once they start the job, they don’t leave you hanging and finish on schedule. I have also recommended them to a few friends and everyone was very happy with their experience, the finished product and most importantly with how well their work held up over time.
