Wanted my garage insulated and drywalled. They came quickly, installed everything and left it looking great. From booking to completion was about 3 weeks, but most of that was because we were waiting for the delivery of the garage door, the main project took 3 days. Staff were courteous and helpful, good communication and a good price.

Anthony and team did great job in variety of projects:
1) Spray foam and blown insulation in attic
2) Spray foam underside of bay window
3) Spray foam of exterior to crawl space
4) Drywall bedroom and foyer ceiling
5) Frame in electrical panel in basement

We recently underwent a full home renovation and we needed to redo our attic insulation. Anthony, from Exotherm Foam, came to complete the attic inspection and provide us with an estimate. He was exceptionally informative and dilligent with his explanations of the necessary work to be done to give us the best possible result. The quote was detailed and in writing, including the full specifications of the product used. They use a higher-quality insulation than the basic standard polyurethane foam. The installers were very friendly, they did a great job, they protected the areas adjacent to where the foam was being sprayed, and left the house clean. My experience could not have been better.

I had some climate control problems with a couple bedrooms. Was contemplating having the drywall opened up and add more insulation to the walls. But my dad said, check if there are issues in your attic, and maybe increase the attic insulation.

I submitted a quote request to HomeStars and Exotherm was put forward. When Anthony, the owner, came to view the attic and provide the quote, he came prepareed - masked and provided his own ladder and tools. This is important to note because some of the other contractors came unprepared - no ladder! How can you provide a proper quote, if you can't see what's there? He took accurate measurements, discussed the options and patiently answered all my questions. Out of the 3 contractors (actually 4, but the 4th one was too arrogant and rude to bother including), he was the only one who recommended wrapping the exposed ductwork for the bathroom exhaust fan. I did more research on this and some findings in the other quotes and agreed with his assessment. The final job - blown-in loosefill cellulose insulation installation (9") (increase to R60 standard), soffit damming, baffle vent installation, mold control application, attic hatch insulation/weatherstripping and blanket insulating the exposed ductwork. So I selected Exotherm as my contractor!

His team, Courtney and Adam, arrived on time, and were friendly, professional, and obviously very experienced, answering my many questions with patience and knowledge (I ask a lot of questions!). They were meticulous in the site preparation and cleanup. They completed the work efficiently, and thoroughly, providing pics as they went. They even dealt with some issues arising from openings left by the builder near some of the soffits! I really appreciate them setting up the plastic, zippered entrance to my closet. That minimized the dust in the rest of the house.

We had a small job in the basement. Anthony visited within a week of our request, provided a quote right away (including WSIB clearance certificate, certificate of insurance and CUFCA certificate). Team came about one week later and did a good job. There was some spillage in the driveway which Anthony reviewed and a team cleaned the driveway a few days later. Very responsive, especially considering that this was a small job.

Anthony and his team came out and provided me with the Information I needed to make an informed decision to keep the insulation I had but increase the amount as it was nowhere near code but what was there was in good shape. From the time of inspection to when they were onsite was less than a week. The on-site crew was extremely polite and made sure they kept my house clean while they came in and out with their equipment. When complete they vacuumed everywhere they went. Extremely happy with the work done (it is now 24” deep the entire way across) and the way everything was handled.
