Alon called me within minutes of submitting my request and was able to come by the very same evening. He explained the issue and got to work right away. From the time we moved into our home, the door would make a loud creaking sound when opening and closing. It would even wake up the neighbour’s dog in the morning. Our garage door is quieter now. Alon didn’t try to over sell us on a new door as both the door and opener were in good condition. Alon also recommended where to lubricate and what lubrication to use going forward.
He went above and beyond for a simple service job by even relocating the interior opener button to a more convenient location to where the previous owners had it. Thank you.

Our very handy friend helped us installed a new garage opener. 1/2 way through he told us he can’t figure out why the garage door is not opening the entire way! Need to call an expert!! After filing in the homestar online request, we got many calls, however Alon was the only expert available. Alon came over on short notice, and was able to fix the issue without any problems. He was professional and was helpful in explained to us maintenance aspects as well. Price was reasonable too.

Called SMART CARE for an broken gargage door spring (decision was based on HomeStars reviews I read). Spoke with a polite person who quoted me a price to repair the spring. She sent Alon...he arrived 2 hours later and replaced BOTH springs (one was broken and the other was very old) as well as cable wires (which were badly rusted). Work was done in about 1 hour.
Alon was a pleasure to work with. He is easy going and works efficiently. Would recommend and use their services again.

Alom offered a detailed check on the faulty garage door and offered us different options for the repairs (broken springs and misaligned hinges /rails). He was also very helpful when I had other questions about the garage door repairs and maintenance.

Alon gave me the quotes that are as par market nevertheless he promised to warrant the product and service in writing.

From the phone i can sense honesty and that is what i was asking . he told me that he can do the job same day but it would be late.

he did not try to up sell me once he was in his house and did not gauge up the price while seeing door broken in the middle of night. Many companies that i know do take advantage of this kind of situation . And yes they do get business but only once in a life time and with no recommendations for the future.

he came around 11 pm. very politely thanked me for being patient and worked for straight 1 hr with great attitude.
