Yassar hung blinds, fixed a whole in our ceiling and wall, painted and fixed some towel racks for us. He was professional, clean and did great work. Would certainly use him again!

We had some weather proofing around the house. Jobs included leaky doors, staining the deck and repaint front door.

Yassar and team was professional and pleasant to work with from start to finish. He gave us a detail quote and executed promptly. He also gave us some cost saving suggestions to help with overall cost and future maintenance. I would highly recommend Yassar!

This is was my third time hiring Yassar, and I have never been disappointed with his service. I was confused with how I was going to finish my kitchen wall corners. Yassar suggested to use coping edges for my outside corner walls and trim for top edges. let me tell you. it looked beautiful and very professional when he completed the task. I am happy with his professionalism and attention to detail. I will recommend his service to any one. Good work!

DO NOT HIRE - unless you're looking for jobs that will need to be re-done shortly after. Very disappointed with this experience.

We hired Yassar to perform the following jobs: sand our small porch, replace the sink and smooth a small portion of drywall in the bathoom

Porch Sanding: This job needed to be re-done by a new team as the sanding was inadequate. The new team manually was able to scrape up the old paint. Multiple guests questioned if our porch had been sanded at all.

Replace the sink: the only repair that went smoothly. He took the old sink.

Bathroom Drywall: This was the biggest disappointment as the drywall repair was completely inadequate and will need to be re-done. First, Yassar had the drywall smoothed but was painted a DIFFERENT colour than any other in the bathroom. What was more disappointing that he was well on his way out the door and WE had to point it out. How did that pass his 'professional' inspection? He then blamed the company where he obtained the paint from for the mistake. After smoothing the drywall, I've attached a picture of the drywall ONE MONTH after the 'fix'. He then tried to blame it on us claiming that we would be moving soon and it wouldn't be our problem which is false on many levels. We don't think it's right for a contractor to perform a 'band-aid' fix that would become a problem later in the future. Yassar offered to patch the drywall again however given that the previous repair only lasted a month, we would be stuck with the same problem.

When confronted about the unprofessional work, Yassar ignored my emails and declined to provide any financial compensation for the work performed - which a couple with a newborn would need as 2 out of the 3 jobs will need to be re-performed. We basically spent $800 cash to have a sink replaced and feel very ripped off.

Great people, service, workmanship, and commitment to excellence. I will invite them back for much larger projects.

Has an issue with the previous contractor. Yassar was very professional in all aspects of the job showed up on time and explained everything so that I was able up understand what was what. The time to complete these job was well within time frame and on budget.
Overall very pleased with the final result and would easily recommend him to any of my friends or family.

We needed help building a separating wall between a bedroom and home office. Yassar came in and completed the work to a very high standard. He was also kept his work space very clean and we could proceed to paint immediately afterwards. I would happily recommend Halton Handyman to others.

When I requested an estimate, I received it promptly, and the price was very fair. Rain postponed the work for one day from the scheduled start, but the workers arrived as scheduled the following day, and had the deck step replacement, and painting of our second storey window bump out completed by the end of the second day. The deck work involved some small excavation and filling with gravel to provide drainage. The work was done promptly, as promised, was done with attention to quality, and exactly as agreed upon with regard to cost.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Halton Handyman to others for quality, reasonably priced work.

Repair /replace decorative poles on porch . This job required carpentry and painting.
2nd job repair walls, trim and paint laundry room, bathroom, master bedroom

Yassar responded to my inquiry promptly and was able to give me an estimate of what the job would cost based on photos we sent. He set-up an appointment with my husband and came to our home with his assistant at the agreed upon time. Yassar and his assistant quickly and efficiently created a third hinge for the door we purchased and installed the door within about two hours. We were very satisfied with the work and plan to book him again to take care of other things in our home.
