I was looking for a company that could translate what I envisioned into reality. Working with Imperial I found them to be patient, professional and very attentive to what I wanted. They also provided great ideas and feedback that made my backyard living space exactly what I was looking for and more. I plan on calling them back next year to do the front of my house. Thanks guys for the hard work and a job well done. I definitely recommend them.

After numerous estimates and many different contractors coming to my home, I finally narrowed it down to Rod from Imperial Stone and Design.

With so many horror stories out there about hack contractors who do rushed and lackluster work, Rod's crew were perfectionists down to the last grain of sand.... AND to top it off the project only took 3 days, for 2200 sqft of interlocking and about 200 feet of almost entirely curved retaining wall.
At least 5 other contractors I had spoken with had said they would take a week.
Cuts were perfect and precise, my retaining wall is as straight as a counter top, and to top it off he even warrantied my front steps for 2 years... i mean what contractor does that nowadays??!!
They all just hack all their jobs in as fast as they can and move on to the next.. then when you want to call them back because the job is falling apart, they never answer their phone anymore!
I'm so glad to have hired Rod to do my landscaping. Turned out so beautiful, I am worry free and 1000% satisfied. Anyone who I know who needs any kind of landscaping work for their house, Rod will be getting that call from me.

After countless estimates we narrowed our decision to Rod and his crew. He arrived promptly and on time for the estimate (which is always a good sign). He introduced himself and after a quick chat about the Toronto Blue Jays I walked him to the back and introduced him to my wife.

My wife and I both felt extremely comfortable as if we had known him for years, as he was super friendly (in an honest way) and was willing to hear our ideas along with providing some helpful suggestions. We are so glad that we waited and skipped our prior quotes (I’ll give my wife credit where it’s due).

Now to the actual work: We purchased our home in Milton 27 years ago primarily for the large 5 acre lot size. Now that we are recently retired we spend more time outdoors tending to the garden and having our grandkids over. After much deliberation we finally decided to have the outdoors finished including in ground pool and seating area.

Once we had the pool installed and general layout of the backyard in place the stone was installed. The job took roughly 1 week to do, even though I asked many questions (I’m a curious person). His employees had no trouble explaining why/how things are done. I was very impressed with the professionalism and now I can impress my friends with all this extra knowledge.

I will definitely be using Rod again when it’s time to stone my driveway and front entrance. I’m not sure if he reads these reviews but if he does… THANK YOU!

Rodney and his team were amazing, Stefano was there daily and ensured the job was done according to plan. My neighbors had recommended an alternate company but by the time I was ready their job no longer looked up to par. It has been 9 months and my job to this day looks as beautiful as it did upon completion. I get compliments on the regular and would highly recommend them.

The entire process was made simple for us. Rod met with my husband and I to understand our needs and to ensure that our vision was going to be met. He took the time explaining the different stone and brick that would be best suitable with the look of our home and the most durable.
After doing some research and meeting with other competitors, we decided to proceed with Imperial Stone and Design. It was the best decision we made. The foreman on sight and crew were amazing and professional! They made the job look effortless to do!
