Edmonton Fireplaces

We had our home built in 2009 and with it, a fireplace like we had always wanted. Our fireplace does not have a pilot that stays lit. We have to turn on a couple of switches to start the fireplace.

The issue was, since the beginning, the fireplace would ignite and then shut of. This happened multiple times until the control unit timed out. We would have to turn off and on the fireplace multiple times in order for it to run.

After about a year in our house, we contacted the builder about our issue. We were told that it wasn’t an issue with the fire place, it was a circulation issue. The fire place was serviced by having someone make a larger hole to the basement which did not fix our issue. After multiple attempts at trying to get the issue fixed, we gave up.

For years we flicked the switches off an on. I said that I had had enough and searched for a small business. This is when I came across Edmonton Fireplaces.

I called Jason and set up an appointment. He arrived early and called me, but I was in a meeting all morning and missed his call. My mother in law was over watching our children and let him in.

Bu the time I came home, all was finished and the area and fireplace were clean and tidy. Jason explained everything he did, and even suggested some options if we still had issues with our fireplace.

Not only am I happy with his work, I am happy that he is easy to talk to as well. He was very kind to my eldest inquisitive son, my mother-in-law, and even my dog.

As I type this our family room is bathed in warmth and if I didn’t know better it looks like our original log burning fireplace.... with a mere press of a button I have a lovely fire. Jason was recommended to us by someone who had sold us a wood stove about 10 years earlier. Jason honoured the quote previously given by this person ( who was no longer working in retail ). Although Jason was very busy with the home show etc, he made time one evening to instal the fireplace as we had the drywall crew in for the next day.
He made the effort which other retailers were not willing to make. In addition, his price was excellent and with the saving we will use him again when we purchase another gas product. We would highly recommend Jason.

I spoke to Jason at the Home Show and he remembered what we had discussed 2 weeks later. I needed my gasplace serviced. The pilot light went out and the flames would not go on.
Jason arrived on time with all tools in hand. Another company had quoted an exorbitant amount to replace a part. I did not need that and Jason adjusted everything necessary for a fraction of the cost. He cleaned out my fireplace, painted the interior, added nice new embers, and installed a new wall switch. Jason is amazingly at his work! He is very knowledgeable about all kinds of fireplaces (we have 2 different ones). He goes overboard to do the best possible job. I had one blower that was noisy and he came over very quickly to fix it! He even cleaned painted the inside of my gas fireplace without asking, and that was for free! I would highly recommend this company.

Removed an old gas fireplace and replaced with a new one. re-vented to the side and insulated and sealed the old chimney. preserved all of our barn-wood finish around the fireplace too! excellent work and the quote was what i paid. no extra cost and on time to the minute.

Jason and crew came on the day promised. They were very neat. They laid down blankets to walk on. During the time there were 6 people working on the insert. Everyone knew their job and were very friendly.
