Great work by Peter and crew. I had a cement slab at my basement walkout that was cracked and broken along with a fairly large crawl space that was covered only by dirt and gravel and a poorly interlocked walkway going to the back deck. Peter came and took a look at the job of replacing everything with concrete and called me back with a reasonable quote within an hr. He and his crew showed up early in the morning and started work right away, no complaints about working in a dirty crawl space with low clearance, his workers were polite and professional. Took them a day to remove all of the old cement and interlock brick and put down the forms and gravel and they came back 2 days later to do the pour. A few hours after they finished pouring the concrete, it started to rain so I was worried that the concrete would be ruined. Before I could even call him, Peter called me and asked me to send him some pictures of how it was looking and then he came back a couple of hours later to touch everything up and to make sure there would be no issues due to the rain. He is even coming back in a couple of days to re-attach the crawl space door which he is going trim shorter by a few inches so that it can fit back in the doorway. All in all, SVD did a fantastic job and completed everything that I wanted to have done. Great work at a fair price, would not hesitate to call Peter again or recommend him to anyone looking for cement work.

Peter and crew have done great job. Work was done as scheduled, no delays. They went extra mile to meet site specific requirements. I would highly recommend them for concrete projects.

This review is way overdue ! Peter and his team refinished our driveway and garage floor back in July/2020. Peter is very professional and knowledgeable. His recommendation for fixing the slope issue in our driveway was spot on. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the quality of work executed by Peter and his team. The final product looks great and we hope to hire Peter in the future to take care of our basement floor. We highly recommend SVD.

I hired Peter and his team after initially reading reviews and photos. My job was a bit different as I prepared the site for him myself to save a bit of money for my mother-in-law in Markham. He was hired to pour, finish and control cuts, about 350 sq.ft. Broom finish.
The initial contact was a phone call and I explained my situation and he was able to come out the same day for a quote and look over my preparation work. It took one day for him to text back the quote to me and the cost was very reasonable and fair. I was very pleased with this.
The day of the pour went very well. Peter and his Team were very conscientious about everything, especially the fact this my pour was on the drier side because of the 9" slope and had to work a bit faster than a normal pour.
As promised, he came by the next morning to do his control cuts and hosed down the cuts and pads and cleaned up the site before payment.
He never asked for monies upfront and even ordered a bit more cement, luckily, as my calculations was a bit off and never charged or asked for more.
Exceptional customer service and workmanship and I highly recommend them.

The concrete steps leading up to the elevated porch of our home were falling apart, and the front facing block wall of the porch was caving in. Got in touch with SVD because of the volume and quality of work we saw here and we are very happy that we did. Upon our initial meeting Peter explained to us what was likely needed to be done and gave us two estimates depending on the extent of the damage. Work started as scheduled. This was a big project. The crew started by carefully dismantling the existing stairs, and the damaged wall. The wall was repaired with new block ensuring it was structurally stronger than before to prevent history from repeating. The look of the new stairs was important to us and they went to great lengths to make sure we were happy with the design. The guys poured a new footing for the stairs, prepared the forms and poured the new stairs tying them into the porch to create a solid single structure. All this work was accomplished within a week and a half and we were always updated on the progress and reasoning behind any decisions made. The repair site was left clean and neat every single day. Work was completed on budget. Peter, Vasyl and the rest of the team are very skillful, knowledgeable, professional and experienced in what they do and it shows in the end result. We highly recommend them.

SVD was excellent! They were efficient, completing my job fast but thorough. They even came back to saw cut a line that I didn’t like even after I paid - that’s customer service! There was no mess, everything was clean and two years later the concrete still looks great, no issues. Definitely recommend.
