The work was well done and I am really happy with the service. Afterwards the site was cleaned up very well.

I would just like to thank Dan and his team for their excellent work they just completed on my house. They repaired several cracks and parged our foundation all on one day. The house looks great. Dan's team was very professional and proficient. I would recommend Dan and his team to anyone who requires some Masonry work on their house.

We hired Hatten Masonry to do mortar repairs, fix loose bricks, parging
and the large job of ripping our old front landing, staircase and replacing with flagstone on top of poured concrete. Finished pic below.

We needed our chimney rebuilt, parging done around the house, bricks that required repairs and a complete renovation to our porch and walkway. Once we saw the craftsmanship and meticulousness of how Dan worked to match up the brickwork for the Chimney and how professionally he and his crews preformed in all areas including clean-up at the end of the day–we were sold! Every nook and cranny requiring repair around the foundation was done expertly. The chimney looks amazing and you would never know the bricks weren’t the same (they were older bricks that were discontinued). The care and precision taken in every step of the process was done to perfection. The porch stone work is spectacular and how they worked to ensure the angles for water flow (away from the house)...everything was taken into consideration.

At the onset, quotes were reasonable prior to Covid-19 and he stuck to what was promised with no hidden surprises – and let us know when one project turned out to be less than quoted. Dan was always assessable for a call and came when promised – all work was completed on time and the whole process was smooth from the very start to the end.

We would recommend Hatten Masonry to anyone. They will exceed your expectations.

The team at Hatten Masonry did an outstanding job. You can tell a lot about a company based on how they treat the little aspects. The team was so courteous. They even checked if we closed the windows to ensure the dust didn’t get in the house. Work was done to perfection. And everything was left so clean that I didn’t have to tidy anything up. Would hire them again!

Dan and his team quickly but efficiently completed the job and beautiful work. I needed new window sills and tuck pointing to be done. They cleaned the mess up afterwards they were done in half the day. He also made me a priority knowing I was putting the house up for sale and needed this done as soon as possible and in his very busy schedule he squeezed me in. My neighbours have noticed the beautiful work they have done and asking me for his number. I very highly recommend him!!!

Dan did an amazing job on my porch repair. He actually improved on the old design to allow for a cleaner look overall. He was kind enough to fit me into their busy summer schedule. Great job, courteous and even went the extra mile to secure my downspout after the repair was completed which was above my expectations !

Parging had cracked and broken away, the bottom three layers of brick had deteriorated behind the parging. Called around to find someone to give me a quote to repair the damage. Dan was the first to respond and came to give me a quote quickly after making contact. He went over the options with me, I felt he was very upfront and honest about what needed to be done and wasn't trying to sell me on anything. He is very organized, sent me a pdf with the quote by email that was clear and concise and could also provide me with an approximate date of when the work could be completed. He made a good first impression, would respond to any questions and that carried over to when the work was completed. The crew worked hard, quickly and cleaned up when completed. Finished product looks great and would recommend him in the future. Attached two before pictures, hard to see the damage that was behind the parging though, as well as a picture of the final product.
