I own a duplex and I was up for registration renewal. I require an electrical inspection every 5 years. By-law didn't tell me this, just sprung it on me last minute. I needed someone pretty quickly. Ian was kind and straight forward, punctual and diligent. I would recommend him to anyone who needs electrical repairs or recommendations. He worked quickly, cleanly and took the time to explain to me what he was doing, which was important to me as I would like to know how things work. 10/10

Ian was responsive to all communication. He showed up and on time for all appointments. He was courteous and very professional. He was also flexible with whatever requests I had. He did the job for a reasonable price and has a wealth of experience and knowledge. I highly recommend him and his crew.

Ian is so professional! This is our third time we have used his company! Does remarkable work installed all lighting fixtures and did work in our garage. Would definetly recommend him again and plan to have him work on our basement. Definitely a 5 star company!

Ian went above and beyond what I expected. Great communication throughout entire project. I started with electrical for an addition but soon realized there was knob & tube in some portions of the house. He ensured that I understood what was needed and walked me through everything. I was having a possible electric problem that was causing a low grade current to flow through the metal surfaces in the house. I found him in the Goldbook and then again here on Homestars. Mr. McAllister arrived when he said he would, after calling ahead of time to make sure we knew how long he thought it would be before he arrived. He was very professional and used a drop cloth and booties in my home. He came and checked several outlets to make sure all the wiring in the house was copper and that there was a ground wire in all the electric outlets he tested. He also repaired an outlet that needed a new anchor screw. When he checked the breaker panel he found a few loose ground wires, and he tightened all of them. He told me that the house ground was fine and well attached. His charge was reasonable for what he did and I would use him again. However, when I tried to contact him the following week about another electrical problem that had appeared I was unable to reach him and ended up calling another electrical contractor.

My husband and I were looking for an electrician and during the process we received a few quotes. A friend recommended Handyman Connection and we were pleased with the price. He was very professional, pleasant and his work was very neat.
