I am a contractor who is looking to add to my roster in all departments. After spending time on Homestars I reached out to a number of teams. All of who got back to me in varying degrees. Steven, emailed back and was really impressive on our call. He gave me the confidence in bringing him out to quote with his knowledge and understanding of what I we are building. Asking the right questions and offering unsolicited advice.

After a brief and transparent quoting process I knew the man matched the money. I hired Steven to frame our house, add the third floor and roof. He did much more. The constant communication, photos, texts. I was secure having his team on site catching challenges in plans and coming up with solid ideas.

I needed to replace some wooden beams (Steve told me they were called ties) in an old man-made roof. Steve was pleasant to deal with and did the job cleanly and well.

I appreciated the fact that he replaced the thinner beams that were broken with thicker beams, and also with the fact that he mounted the air-conditioning unit that fell due to the broken beam.
