Simply put I would hire them again. We found D4L through our real estate agent. Extremely worried with all the challenges that happen in the home renovation space. We didn’t realize how big the job was. They came in did a detailed quote and we went to two reference sites. It was a great experience. Lots of little things always happen but they were there every step of the way. The best you can do is pass on good companies and I have now done this about 4 or 5 times and every story it’s he same. A little gem of a company in a big city with too many to choose from. Happy to provide more information if needed.

After limited success finding what I wanted in a new garage door, I heard about Detail 4 Life, who managed quite simply to find and install the very product I had in mind. With that accomplished I asked if they could take a look at a bathroom I wanted to renovate. They understood the vision of a finished product I was conveying and had some wonderful and effective ideas to include. With the positive experience I had with my garage door, I did not hesitate to have them take on the transformation of my bathroom.
Katie and Jeevan are two very pleasant and personable professionals, who made the process very fluid and we had regular communication throughout. The project started and ended on time and all involved were very polite, expert and organized. The Project Particulars were very specifically detailed, the invoicing schedule was clearly laid out and there was attention to detail from start to finish. This crew obviously takes pride in their workmanship and it shows in the finished product. This was a complete transformation from ugly to stunning and is admired by all who come to my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a renovation done!

I was referred to D4L by the mold guys. They came in to reinstall my drywall that had to be removed due to a mold issue. They came in and got the job done fast and were even able to give us a bit of a deal on installing our floors. Very professional and great customer service. Would reccomend to my friends and family !

Hired D4L for a kitchen and living space renovation project, which was completed in a timely manner within budget, and more importantly with exceptional attention to detail. The outcome was far better than what I had envisioned. Jeevan and Katie were professional and personable. They had vast knowledge in designing the layout and had the most thoughtful suggestions. They gave us sound advice on what materials were of quality and cost efficient, and how to use our space efficiently. Their workers were just as much alike; trustworthy and always left the place tidy after a day’s work. I have been extremely pleased with the end product and will hire them again for any future projects without any hesitation.

This was a superbly executed project completed on time and on budget . The Management of D4L , Katie and Jeaven were extremely professional and were active in all aspects of the job . The renovation team were excellent and their work was faultless . I would greatly recommend them . As a result of the success of this project we have retained D4L to now renovate our basement and bathrooms

Both Katie and Jeevan are efficient, clean and knowledgeable. Liked them so much, had them back twice !! My husband and I were looking to get a some Built Ins for our home office. We had some pictures to show what we were looking for. They added their opinions which ended up turning out better than we expected to be honest. Beautiful desk flowing with built ins, makes the room look bigger and classy.

Superior customer service and work !

I contacted D4L, frantic for a contractor, with less than 1 weeks notice. D4L was referred to me by another trades person I was working with.

Jeevan and Katie are a professional, personable and very knowledgeable team. I was immediately put at ease and promised the restoration work would be completed within the time agreed upon. It was !

Basically, I had a basement leak to repair, which resulted in walls being torn down. I had given them less than one week's notice, and I could only allocate 2 days to complete the restoration....and.....it had to be started on a Thursday! I was scheduling different trades people for different jobs and needed a contractor on the Thursday. D4L was given short notice and several restrictions to work around.

Jeevan was my first contact. He came to our home the next day. He was prompt, professional and provided me with a game plan and a fair quote the same day. He also gave me some colour suggestions for paint, which I followed through with. I am very pleased with the results!

My next contact was Katie. She came by with a well written and thorough contract, which I really appreciated. Katie is such a pleasant person. She kept in touch with me for the duration of the job, and followed up with me after the job was completed as well.

Ken and his partner worked on our basement laundry room for 2 days. They put up drywall, baseboards and painted. I am so pleased with Ken's work!! He obviously takes pride in his work and he was very careful to pay attention to details. I truly appreciate people who take pride in their workmanship, it's obvious that Ken does.

Katie also came by to check on the job site to make sure everything was going well. I was impressed as I did not expect her to drive so far, just to check in on a relatively uncomplicated 2 day job.

All in all we are so very pleased with the results. My interactions with Jeevan and Katie was a 5 star experience for me! This "minor" leak issue, caused significant stress for our family however, hiring D4L for the restoration work, was one if the best choices we could have made.

We look forward to one day soon, working with Jeevan and Katie again.

Incompetent worker - tiling protruding, uneven, built wall on angle, tiled over window frame, shower base graded not to code, inconsistent tile pattern, damaged & broken pieces used etc. Have to tear down everything and have a competent contractor re-do! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! LOST $$$$
