Max Blinds

I would to start off by sharing the amazing service I received from Max. I had high standards for what I wanted done in my home and after going through different options and blind materials, Max was able to come up with a solution that would accentuate my home. Most importantly, Max made sure to put forward options that fit my budget. Would highly recommend and use his services in the future!

Will not recommend nor use Max's services again. He is unprofessional and rude. He made many mistakes which will cost me greatly now as he will not fix what he started even though he said he would. He is not a man of his word. He does not complete projects as he is not experienced in doing so. His workmanship is sloppy. He starts a job and does not finish it. I would suggest anyone looking for shutters to be installed or any other door or window treatment work please Google the person and their company ahead of time. I wish I did, I went with word of mouth. Never again.

Max will take your deposit of $1,000 and fail to deliver and install blinds on time. He will either take 3 to 4 times longer than quoted or he will keep your deposit and not refund it to you, which is what happened to me. This is why he stays off of whatsapp because there are A LOT of people trying to contact him for their money back. He is a very questionable character with an extensive criminal record. Check in google, you will find it.

Yesterday Max installed window shutters in our living room. We are more than thrilled with the results, brought our room into the 21st century! He was very professional and did an excellent installation and clean up. The installation was completed in well under the estimated time. We live in Fergus and Max even came out to do our original measurements on a Saturday evening. From then on everything went smoothly. Would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thanks again Max.

Max, a very rude guy but he shows it after he gets money. On appointment he will show that he is the best person out there but unfortunately won't recommend this company to anyone, he got advance $500 and didn't deliver the products as promised plus doesn't know what's customer service. Please don't do mistake to have this guy for any blinds or shutters. Already complained to BBB and also taking it further as he is not refunding my money back. Advice to all go by referral, my first mistake going without referral actually. I don't know about other reviews but this review is based on fact and I have all details and proofs so you can't ignore. Beware to use the right service else you would be in hot water like me, he wasted my so much time. His name is max and he disappoints you at the max.

Very personable and gave a prompt response to inquiry with prompt appointment to measure . Installation very orderly and professional . Product fit as promised . Suggested Plastic as opposed to Wood for better economy and longevity . Certainly worh dealing with this Fellow

I contacted Max at Max Blinds to install a large Roller Blind for my Condo Bedroom. Max was friendly and pleasant to deal with on the phone. Upon meeting him he was very polite and courtesy during the measurement and estimate visit. He brought many samples to choose from and was very thorough and meticulous in his measurements and explanation of how the install would occur. On installation day, Max arrived on time and performed a quick and clean install. His prices are fair and the quality of his work was excellent. I will be using Max for all future blinds installations.

I had some awkward shaped windows in my condo and 2 quotes prior to Max Blinds were outrageous!

I found him on Kijiji (believe it or not) and gave him some measurements over the phone just to get an idea of cost.

His price was unbelievable which made me wonder what type of quality I was going to get.

After doing some research about his product, I learned that the compound they use to make their shutters is the same supplier as Hunter Douglas and Shade-O-Matic.

He (Maxwell) did a final measurement and installed the blinds himself. Here is one of the windows, the picture speaks for itself...

I find Max Blinds through Google search and it leade to kijiji. I was a little hesitate at first but after speaking with him, he seemed so knowledgable and had like every product you could think of for your windows and doors.
He initially gave us a free estimate over the phone and it was by far the best price we had been quoted. He later then came to the home after work hours to accommodate our odd work hours.
He took final measurements and let us view the different selections for our windows. We also got a great door insert for our front and back doors.
I guess his price is so reasonable due to him being a private dealer and working from home.
He did the whole job from beginning to end and it was amazing workmanship and his personality is great too.
From the date of order he had our whole house completed in 10 business days.
Max is definitely the window guy to call. 5 stars

Max was able to save me about $800.00 for my shutters. He came by and provided us with a free quote. We decided on Vinyl window seal shutters. Installation date was as promised. We had 10 large windows done and 1 large Bay window. Max is all about the details in his installation. Max is also very respectful of people’s homes and property. He was done the installation in about 4 hours. If your considering shutters and think you can’t afford them try Max at Max Blinds! One of the other local companies in my area told me that it would be impossible to get shutters for that price. Max proved them wrong. I guess there is a reason why people in Ottawa also have been using his services. I saw another review from a satisfied Ottawa customer as well. Give Max a try it will cost you nothing. You may be surprised than shutters are now affordable.
