Ambicorp Property Inspections

I called Rob at 9:30pm the night before I needed an inspection done. Rob came the next day as he said he would and finished the home inspection before we needed the report to be completed. He was very through and offered detailed explanations on all items in the report. The report is easy to follow, would def recommend to anyone.

We heard water dripping sound inside the wall during heavy rain two weeks ago and called Rob for help. Since we never fully inspected our home, we took the opportunity and asked Rob to complete a full inspection. He provided a full professional report and helped us to identify many improvements. After trying to contact some home inspectors that I had used previously when purchased past houses, and not being able to get in touch with them. I decided to call Rob Amani after a quick web search. Right from the start I sensed a lot of confidence in my conversation that took place about a month prior to my PDI. Once the time of my PDI arrived about a month ago, Rob showed up
punctual at the site of inspection, and was very easygoing and pleasant to talk too. My builder had no clue who he was until he
started to get ready and roll inside and outside the premises, in a totally professional manner. He was wort every penny spent, because he discovered water leaks in places I would have never been able to. To my builder's surprise Rob went on a comprehensive and thoroughly detailed inspection in
parallel with the builder's inspectors one. They were speechless
most of the time, and they even consulted him when in doubt of
their own inspection. At the end of the inspection every corner and
every place was so meticulously inspected, that even today as I'm
writing this review, my builder keeps trying hard to fix all the other
defects or defective items, parts or pieces that Rob, professionally,
was able to point out and discover in a timely manner. Few hours
after the inspection Rob sent me an email with all the info/photos
regarding the inspection in a PDF format so concise and so easy to
read. I would totally and unequivocally recommend Rob Amani to
do your PDI or home inspection on your present/future house, condo or cottage without any hesitation.

I had a water leak into a closet door frame 3 weeks ago which led me to suspect a roof leak. Upon searching the internet, I came across Ambicorp whom will be able to capture views of my roof and shingles of any issues. Upon calling Rob, he was able to arrange a home inspection within the week on the Sat to inspect the leak and also doing a full home inspection of my 4 year old house. Rob first did a very thorough job on checking on my roof, condition of my shingles and attic. He initially did not want to know where the leak was so he can do a non-biased assessment which he found out we had some missing shingles and an "opening" of the roof (he saw sunlight from the attic - not a good sign!). Later, I showed him where the leak was and indeed the "opening" was the culpit. He was very thorough in his full home inspection including thermal infrared scan (not extra cost) and checking all the attic entrances, checking leaks from faucets running, all the electrical outlets and even the adequacy of protection of our alarm system. He noticed two exterior electrical outlets in our balconies were not GFI protected although they were built according to building code. I am grateful for his finding as it is a safety concern in my perspective. The full report with pictures was sent to us within 3 hours after the inspection. He also gave me a contact on a roofer whom we were able to get our shingles replaced on the same day. I would highly recommend Rob!

Rob was very professional throughout the entire interaction from the first email to the last correspondence. He was very quick to respond to requests, and provided great rates for Condo inspections. I had an urgent request for a Condo inspection he was able to easily accommodate. During the inspection he was very thorough, took many pictures, and provided some on the site feedback. Shortly after the inspection I received a full detailed report with pictures and description on recommendations. I highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a professional home inspector.
