Whole row of driveways Island Park Drive not plowed once by 3 p.m. January 4, 2015. Company message box full but seeking new customers. Snow stopped 12 or more hours ago! All competitor companies cleaned out their clients' driveways. Okay last year, not outstanding.

EXTREMELY STRONG WARNING against this company. Does not show up, does not respond to phone calls once they have your money. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, very unreliable, will never reccoment them

Cosnumer beware!

Buyer beware! Hired these folks last year... rarely showed up. Completely unreliable. Would not return calls. Numerous ridiculous excuses offered originally and so provided a second chance. Still no show at second major snowfall. Filed complaint with BBB. I and many others never resolved. Do your homework before proceeding.

First off, I think the previous 2 reviews are fake and probably written by Grant (Ace of Blades frontman).
I had a very poor experience with this company and I am not alone. There were several complaints that were unresolved by the BBB at the end of season 2014. I would never recommend this company! You have been warned!!

We contracted Ace of Blades in 2013. I work from home and without a doubt they cleaned my driveway every time we had a snowfall and sometimes more than once in a given day if it was a bad storm. My husband sometimes like to shovel for excercise if its not too heavy but we contracted Ace of Blades as back up for the big storms as well just in case he was travelling. Lets just say my husband didn't shovel the driveway once all year and I can now have peace of mind when he travels knowing I will be able to get to work on time. Janet from Kocher Drive, Ottawa

We have lots of people ask us "isn't snow a crazy insane business why did you get into it, there can't be much money in a business with that many expenses and headaches". This will be my 4th year with Ace for snow removal. Me and my wife need to be out of our driveway very early and Ace of Blades like clock work is allways there. In 2012 they even came on christmas eve when the city plow went by (I wasn't expecting this). So far I couldn't be happier and have gone on to recommend there services to all of my neighbours as they are well worth the peace of mind.

Company Response: We appreciate, the positive review and feedback Mr Wahlen. Some companies don't service their customers on holidays, We understand the importance of friends and family visiting during this time of year and sacrifice our own holidays (if its snowing) to make sure our customers are taken care of. You are correct, In 2012 we had roughly 65CM of snow in the 3 days prior to Christmas. Our crews were out for 4 days straight including Christmas eve and route checks the following Christmas day to ensure all of our customers driveways were cleared. Mother Nature will not beat Ace Snowblowing, Thanks again for the feed back.
