Excellent job and results!! The crew and Rob conducted themselves on a professional level. They went well beyond what was expected of them. We had four trees taking down and were able to finish that day. They cleaned up and were careful to not damage any of the flower beds. The price was excellent. I would definitely recommend them. You do not need to go anywhere else. I did my research and they are by far the best.

I had a great experience with this company right from the start. Rob was very professional and fair with his quote. I had a large tree that had to be removed and the stump ground down as well as trimming a number of other trees on my property. I even recommended Rockwood to my neighbour and he had his tree trimmed as well. Rob has really nice people working for him. Tim and the crew who came to my house were great! Thanks guys!!

We hired Rob's team to remove 3 trees and grind down the stumps. His crew came and completed the work within a day and cleaned up thoroughly. Several years ago, we hired them to remove 2 dead Ash trees and they did an equally good job. We are very pleased with their service.

Rob was professional from start to finish. He contacted me the same day i put up the ad and was out the next day to provide a quote. His team was efficient, on time and did an amazing job. They cleared up all the debris in my yard and the neighbors were also happy with the work. They removed 4 trees 1 bush and grinded down 5 stumps. They completed the entire job in a day as promised i have already recommended them to family. They are no hassle, reliable and get the job done. If you want a good honest bunch go with them.

Rockwood Tree Service did an excellent job taking down these two trees. Robert, the manager came beforehand to give me a quote a discuss the job. After arriving on time, Dylan, the owner, and two staff immediately went to work and finished in the time predicted. Clean up of my property and that of my neighbour was perfect.

I am thrilled with the job and feel that the price was reasonable.

The guys at Rockwood responded to my Homestars request to remove a large spruce tree that had partially fallen over and posing to cause more damage as there were wires, a fence and a greenhouse below .
Robert came to the house promptly and gave me a very competitive quote, to my relief they were ready to take on the job same day (Sunday), let me tell you, they did an awesome job, these guys are properly equipped and professional. They carried out the task safely and were ready to present their WSIB and insurance certificate as I requested.

I would definitely be calling these guys up again and will recommend them to anyone. I had a great interaction with everyone of them and found them genuinely happy and kind.

Just a quick shout-out to Rockwood Tree Services for the absolutely fantastic work recently completed. After receiving an arborist report, I knew that we had to take down our red oak tree located in the front of our property between my house and neighbour. The tree’s diameter was at least 3 ½ feet, where the limbs stretched over our two houses and near some hydro wires – it was no easy task! I did my homework and looked for referrals from various sources, ending up with getting 6 quotes for the project. I was amazed in the range in prices I had received, where Rockwood was one of the financially viable ones received. However what stood out on top of everyone else was the service levels, immediately contacting me and arranging to come out for a visit, walking me through what they were going to do, as well as finding the best time to get the project done. The crew lead and his entire team was absolutely friendly, professional and worked above and beyond what I had expected. They had all of the necessary equipment, and worked long hours to get the job done – even in the frigid temperatures in December. I was also amazed by the entire clean up of the surrounding area, including removal of the sawdust from the roof and eavestrough!

Hats off to the entire team, and will no doubt be calling them again for other tree trimming and/or removal services in the future.

I had 3 consultations with Rob, very accommodating, extremely professional. The timing of their arrival was right on key, almost to the minute. This company has the skill, and the equipment needed to do the job at hand. The coolest machine for hard to get at spots, we’re feeling better about the safety in the backyard with the dead limbs out of the trees, and, that it helps with the overall health of them as well. Barring any emergencies with the oak and walnut in our yards, I’ll be calling on Rockwood to do another maintenance call in the coming years.

Fabulous guy to work with, Robert is a true professional, mellow demeanor, someone who goes above and beyond in serving is customers. I called Robert to remove a tree stump, he came assessed the situation (other contractors were giving me quotes without even seeing the job) and brought in the right equipment to do the job. He was on time, efficient and moreover got the stump removed. Overall a great experience.

My neighbor's huge silver maple tree had obviously not be trimmed in years and the low hanging branches were obstructing the garden area on our side. We recently moved into the house and the branches would make gardening in that area impossible, so it need to be cut. The Rockwood team arrived early and completed the job quickly. They even pickup one of the branches that fell from the tree and disposed of it along with everything they cut. I'm looking forward now to starting a new garden in that area. Dealing with Robert during the initial consultation was great. I would highly recommend this company.
