I purchased my first home recently and it was a fixer upper. After completing demolition on the home main level I discovered the structure and existing beam supports to be very old and dangerous. Leuri visited my home promptly, assessed the situation with an effective solution, gave me a quick quote and time line of his availability. Luckily Leuri was able to find some extra time to visit the home earlier than expected and complete the work, making it easier to have my other trades workers come to work on my sooner than expected as well.

We had a fireplace installed incorrectly. Leuri came in and quoted the job and scheduled a day he was available to do the work on the spot. Very responsive and knowledgeable about his work. The fireplace required a 42" opening, Leuri came in, cut the studs, installed the header and installed the jack studs all within less than half a days work.

He even supplied extra vapour barrier to finish the job for after the fireplace installation.

Leuri was beyond professional, very clean, prompt and curtious. I would recommend him to quote any renovation that required his expertise.

I was in the process of getting my garden sliding patio door replaced when it was discovered that the structural rim joist running along the perimeter of my house, and under the sliding patio door, was found to be rotted due to water seepage over many years.

This had to be replaced in order for the patio door replacement work to proceed.
Since this is a critical support component that forms part of the foundation of the house, I began a search for a contractor who was experienced in structural issues and how to tackle them.

After some searching I found Leuri who agreed to come to my house to assess the situation.

When he arrived, his experience and knowledge of the problem became apparent to me very quickly and he was able to propose an innovative approach to "surgically" remove and replace the parts of the rotted joist, subfloor and sill plate with minimum disruption to my home.

I want to add that I have a finished kitchen area with marble floor tiling (which were not touched) and a finished basement from where he was able to perform a majority of the work with minimum disruption.

The work was completed as quoted and within a day. All waste materials were cleaned up very well and my home was left in a clean state.

I highly recommend Leuri for any type of structural framing work, he definitely has the experience and the ability to execute this type of work.

I called Leuri for an appointment to provide a quote for a sunroom ceiling framing job. He came over at his appointed date and time.
His quote was reasonable and we agreed on a start up date. He and his crew came over, on the stated date, and finished the job the same day. He even cleaned up after everything was done. He was very professional, friendly, and even offered extra advice. I would certainly refer him to others needing work done for projects big or small.

I checked out several carpenters on HomeStars before choosing Rebuild the Planet. Leuri gave me a complete quote and answered all my questions. He had some suggestions about how the framing should be done and I went with his recommendations. They showed up on time and did a great job. I had Leuri come back a few weeks later to install the plywood in the kitchen before the tile installation. He was very thorough and I would highly recommend him for any carpentry project.
