The folks at Ashley offered a turnkey service to remove a large tree that had fallen onto our garage. From initial quote (very fast) to city permit for emergency removal to removal of the tree itself and an impeccable cleanup job. As a landlord that lives on the other side of the world, it's critical to secure this level of end-to-end service. You've been added to my *trusted services* list. Ashey's Tree Care was the chosen service provider among three bidding companies. Their quote was 20% lower than he second ranked and 45% lower than the most expensive. Ashley's asked for a 10% deposit before starting the job, other companies did not ask. Also they did not send a specialist to see the tree on location but asked us to provide pictures.
Additionally we asked Ashley's to help us to spread 40 bags of soil and mulch we purchased online from HD, all depending on weather after the tree was trimmed. I also asked Ashley's to book the job asap (they estimate 2 weeks to start a new job, due to the season high demand). On the job day it was very windy and the night before it snowed. I was afraid they will move the date. Ashley's crew came on the day and time as agreed and completed the work including soil spreading shortly after lunch. We were impressed with how efficient this team was, how positively they responded to every additional task we added to the job, and the cleanliness they left behind. Highly recommended. The Owner

Ashley was quick to respond, professional and honest. He made some great recommendations and we are happy with the work. The only thing I did not realize as this was our first experience hiring an arborist, was that we wouldn’t know when we were scheduled for work until the week of. I appreciated Chris (who handles the calls) for explaining to me and also quickly squeezing us in to have the work completed. We had our Cedar bushes trimmed, all the debris/weeds/small trees growing under cleared out, and trees from both our neighbours that were crowding the cedars by a lot.
Sean and Colton showed up and went straight to work. They were polite and respectful. I appreciated how professionally they handled my tough neighbour. They worked hard and clean up was quick with nothing leftover from job. There’s a photo of the before and after.

Contracted Ashley's tree service to remove a smaller Ash tree and a 60 ft Black Walnut tree in our backyard; including grinding down the stump. Ashley's quote was very detailed with the scheduling and how the large logs would be milled and removed. Received an emailed quote the following day; accepted online and the job was scheduled.

The arborist crew did a fantastic job with the removal and clean-up. Overall customer service from Ashley and team is excellent; they respond quickly via text/email to any follow ups. They have a great team and I highly recommend them.

Ashley Tree Care service was the first company to reach out to me when I listed on homestars that I needed a stump removed. Ashley came out and assessed what needed to be done and the cost. He is extremely knowledgeable and genuine. A few days later Jack came to remove our stump. He did a great job and also was pleasant to deal with. No surprises, The service was excellent and the price was the price quoted. In the next year or so we have a full tree that will need to be removed and Ashley Tree service will be our choice. Received quote on time for cutting down 3 trees and several stumps.
Tree cutting and removal was done perfectly fine and I had no issues.

They accidentally cut a cable running below the ground, which connects to our decorative light but they were kind enough to provide a discount of $50 on this cut.

I would definitely recommend them for future work.

Ashley's Tree Care provided me with a prompt and informative onsite review and estimate of work needing to be done to my Manitoba Maple. they followed up promptly with the written estimate via e-mail and easy access for contact. They had prompt and polite initial contact and during the onsite review answered all my questions and concerns. Ashley was respectful of the questions and concerns regarding work to be done and the and arrangements for the day for my dogs.

Decided to get the stump removed - well, actually grinded - from my backyard during the Covid pandemic. Chatted with the owner over the phone and sent him some pictures of the stump through text, and he was able to give me an accurate quote within the day.
Once I agreed to the service, I had an appointment within a week. The guy came and took care of the stump within 30 minutes.
No fuss, no muss. Highly recommend.
